It is Iran's internal matter who governs them. Me, grown up under the Proto Taliban General Zia ul Haq, know the dangers of a theocracy.

Isn't Pakistan currently a theocracy in a way? The only difference is the State Religion now is "Making personal wealth, and worship of a few corrupt Harami mafia families as if they were Allah." You have common petty thieves planted as the Prime Minister and the President who are worshipped by their stupid followers.

Say what you want about the Iranian Mullah Theocracy, but they have way WAY higher standards of education set up for their common people compared to Pakistan.

A country where ONE phone call from a capital far, far away can change its government IS a theocracy in that it obeys and follows the commands given to it from that capital.

I agree - Iran has won this strategically. Every objective that USA and Israel had, they failed in.

At best it's a tie. Personally, I see the scale slightly tilting in favor of the US.

I don’t see any USA president attacking Iran again ever.

This was Netanyahu last chance and he blew it.

Bro, Washington needs three things right now:

1. peace and calm in preparation for the World Cup,
2. a reduction in gas prices for the midterm elections,
3. and the replenishment of expended ammunition.

These are the three primary motivations for the United States to enter into any agreement at this moment.

Trump's presidency will officially conclude in nearly 1000 days. He has ample time to reignite the conflict - and he certainly will, without a doubt.

Iran should build a similar weapon as Russia for its Israeli bound missiles. This is what a true accurate cluster munition warhead looks like and how it would be much harder for Israel to defend critical military installations if Iran had a similar missile. It’s also good against air bases as 2 or 3 of these can do a lot more damage to an area than 5 normal Iranian missiles with heavy warheads.

Lifting of sanctions < Hormuz toll unless US invests in Iran and pushes Europeans to do the same. Not many foreign companies are going to risk having their assets seized and investments ruined once the US reinstates sanctions.

Iran should consolidate its look east, lets get those gas pipelines with Pak up and running, get closer co-orp with China - mend any issues Iran had and keep motherland at arms length they are snakes.

I hope the deal is reached, both countries can claim victory as long as war is not resumed, and civilians can start rebuilding and get on with their lives, we have enough wars and conflicts, and a constant threat of hanta-virus and Ebola outbreaks lingers, world needs some serious peace so it can reconstruct, but unfortunately several people in many countries have stakes in defense industries and they will not let peace prevail for their own personal benefits, its a such sad state of affairs of us humans.
