Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

"Gharibabadi also said lifting all unilateral US sanctions, including primary and secondary sanctions, and normalizing Iran’s status at the UN Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors are among Tehran’s key demands."

What is Iran requesting here? A veto power? Can people elaborate on what Gharibabadi has alluded to here?

Removal of UN sanctions in addition to USA sanctions removal.

"🔺 Mohsen Rezaei, military adviser to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei and former IRGC commander-in-chief, told CNN in an interview in Tehran:

▪️ “The negotiations are at a deadlock and Trump must break this deadlock. The ball is in Trump’s court”

▪️ Iran demanding $12B in frozen assets released immediately upon signing an interim deal, another $12B in a subsequent phase

▪️ Ruled out a Khamenei-Trump meeting: “This will not happen”

▪️ If U.S. resumes conflict, Iran will “expand the war beyond the Persian Gulf” to the Indian Ocean, Red Sea, and Mediterranean

▪️ Iran and Oman will jointly manage the Strait of Hormuz and charge a maintenance fee

▪️ Warned U.S.-Israel against ground war/invasion. “Our land power is many times greater than our missiles”

This is good and Iran needs to bargain hard. Another interesting tidbit is this Mohsen Rezaee fellow is the last OG from 1979 still around. All the rest either died naturally or un-naturally.

Probably the smartest decision he made during the war. The soldiers would have 100% suffered casualties, if not outright capture.
Agree. These are the losses the US admitted to for just their rescue mission of a few hours, so you can imagine how an extremely complicated 1-2 week long mission would go:

this is far from reality ... IRGC is still full of senior generals in their 60s and 70s who were around since the start of the revolution. including the commander of the IRGC, Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi and commander of the Khatam al Anbiya Command HQ Major General Ali Abdollahi.

and many more senior Major Generals (the highest rank practically achievable in Iran) who were leaders during the Iran Iraq war and continue to control things from behind the scenes since then, like Ali Jafari and Rahim Safavi.

and others who are a bit older and retired now, whose names I won't mention but you can find.

If they claim it was “self destroyed” - that’s even worse.

Indicates helplessness.

Suicide is worse than being killed.

All bullshit excuses to cover up TACO and the fact that Kurdish Gigachads didn't want to invade Iran and instead stole the weapons sent from the US/Israel for themselves
what can we say or conclude about the kurds today? Their chances of building an independent Kurdish state in the middle East are dead- militarily they failed in Syria(civil war), Iraq (against central govt and Turkey) and against Iran (US Israeli aggression ).
They are incompetent, unstrategic, proxy-wannabees and they will never secure an independent state, which I guess settles the "Kurdish question ". They died for everybody else's interests but theirs. Smfh

that is just what they admitted. at the time, Babak shared a photo of another A-10 that was hit and badly damaged, but that was never announced.

Russia's Foreign Minister Lavrov on nuclear weapons:

Gaddafi gave up his nuclear program — and he was mocked and killed on live television to the delight of Hillary Clinton, who literally applauded in front of the screen.

North Korea simply concluded that without nuclear weapons, they would be wiped off the face of the earth.

They are acting on this choice — and no one touches them.

With Iran, all of this started because Iran had supposedly been promoting international terrorism for 47 years. It very quickly became clear that the reason was once again oil.

US stocks down badly today. Everyone was expecting rate cuts, but a stronger than expected jobs report today destroyed those hopes.

US inflation up to 3.8%.

SpaceX large IPO coming soon which will draw liquidity.

Marco Rubio telling congress the war with Iran is over.

Congress passing war resolution demanding Trump ends the war.

US inventories of high-end precision strike weapons and ballistic missile interceptors heavily depleted (depletion rates: 50-80% THAAD, 50% Patriot, 30-60% SM-3, 15-30% SM-6, 30% Tomahawk, 25% JASSM, 50-70% PrSM) and will take 5+ years to restore.

Israeli ballistic missile interceptors at critically low levels (100-200 Arrow/THAAD interceptors left) despite the US heavily depleting high end THAAD and SM-3/SM-6 interceptors to reduce the burden on Israeli air defences.

Large majority (70%+) of Iran's missile stockpile intact in missile cities with Iran already restoring access to 70-80% of the tunnel entrances and resuming drone production (and likely assembly of ballistic missiles albeit not full scale production).

Now we know why Iran's battle hardened leaders (Ali Abdollahi, Ahmad Vahidi, Majid Mousavi, Qalibaf, Eje'i, Arafi, Khamenei) are so confident in their position.

Yes, the situation is not looking good for USA. Iran has gained the upper hand.

here we go again ...

the US is escorting oil tankers through the Strait of Hormoz

Iran fires drones at the tankers, the US intercepts them and bombs the launch point in south Iran (typically Qeshm Island or Bandar Abbas)

then Iran responds by firing larger missile and drone salvos at US bases in Kuwait/Bahrain to destroy USAF drone/aircraft hangars

I too have been expecting it for 47 years.
Why did US expect this war for 47 years but then failed to prepare well for it? That's why Iran won- it was actually better prepared for this expected war with US. or maybe orange soda idiot made stupid decisions for US which is expected from a super idiot of his type who without white privilege would've been jailed for life a while ago in US.

it's not over yet. I won't say Iran "won" until Iran locks in any perceived gains through tangible political / economic accomplishments.

But it is clear that the US is very reluctant to return to war and failed to achieve any of its objectives to date.

Interestingly, I commented on this earlier this morning when the usual posts of great cheer went up. Copying in its entirety:

And concluded with it putting a little more perspective on things.
