Exactly what i said a few posts earlier. This whole episode will leave the Israeli psychological dominance of the area in tatters. For 4 decades they bombed Beirut whenever they were in the mood. Now they cannot. What Iran is now acheiving cannot be underestimated. After this, and any "deal" things will look different.

Israelis are calling it a 'new security paradigm' and saying they will not allow this to establish. They are also gloating about Netanyahu defied President Trump and got away with that.
BTW, every American President starting with Reagan (and maybe even before) at least some time reigned in Israel. Even Joe Biden, who was the most pro Israel President until Trump came, explicitly warned and stopped from attacking Iran. President Trump is going to face a hard choice: To protect the American interests by getting out of this war or to indulge Netanyahu's expansionist goals.
