The US is likely to have help from others in the region. I personally do not trust any one of our neighbors.

Kurdish rebels have been preparing to enter Iran from the northwest of Iran. Israel already has terror cells in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The situation is pretty dangerous in the northwestern borders of Iran.
The US itself will probably attack the southern regions of Iran, starting with the Iranian islands like Kharg, Lavan, Qeshm, Bu Musa and smaller islands with the help of the UAE.

This may come as a shock but I can see us sitting down at an outside table at some little Italian bistro enjoying an espresso and a pastry while discussing the world's ills.

Context:
EAM's are emergency action messages normally sent out during War Time or from the Nuclear Doomsday Aircraft SkyLark/SkyKing (Nightwatch) to Listening Posts. Those random numbers and letters you see, those are mission sensitive orders sent in an encrypted format.

The first section of Letters and Numbers are known as the Preamble - the actual encrypted cypher follows this so [CBKRNJ] would be the preamble, and the encrypted message would follow this.

The Radio Checks are conducted by stations prior to a large-scale movement of assets and personnel to ensure all the aircraft/convoy are able to 5/5/ (Loud and Clear) prior to any mission sensitive transmissions.

Do you suspect the Apache engagement was USA merely testing Iran's responsiveness and readiness for what now appears to be looming as a more substantial operation?

The truth is that China is ruining Iran's strategy.

Additionally, Chinese reserves are nearly at capacity. They have exhausted their storage space for surplus oil and gas.

I doubt the US would risk personnel for any such activity - they could have easily used drones which are a dime a dozen to them.

I put a similar post in the US Related thread. I doubt these tankers went out in the dead of night. Iran was likely aware and more likely there was some backroom deal where their cigar smokers met with ours to work out the details. There is no way that many vessels transited the Strait without someone being aware of it.

i know we are making a red dawn reference love the movie even if cheesy as hell to most people but I can actually see pinpoint attacks by miniature drones in the future be it from foreign forces or criminal in nature worlds evoking when you can buy this over the shelf and smuggling people through Mexico or Canada is still fairly easy
