Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

It wasn’t a friendship. They used us and when they no longer had any need for us, they went to the Saudis and ditched us. All because the shah grew balls and stood up to the Europeans.

Anyways, we are where we are now and there’s no reason to look back.
Yeah its OT but reading Vali Nasr's book "Iran's Grand Strategy" , he does go into the background and in the 1970's the US was selling Iran all those weapons and building up its armed forces because the Shah was interested in being the regional proxy of America. The Shah was more worried about the Soviets than he was the Americans. It's why Iran got involved in putting down an insurgency in Oman in the 1970s.

When those plans were flipped upside down in 1979 the US went looking elsewhere for proxies and turned to Iraq and the backwater states of what is now GCC. Proxies are always America's number 1 preference.

Indeed. Empires use countries like used condoms. Do we need to rehash who put in Saddam and then destroyed him? Or many other Arab nationalists dictators in the past?

That being said, when the US is an 'ally' or you're their vassal, at least during the alliance or vassalage, they do what they say they will. The Russians stab you in the back, that's different. They used Iran as a bargaining chip for years during Putin. Even know that Nato is raping them in Ukraine (they lost countless soldiers there), they won't even sell some missiles or manpads or whatever.
Exactly. Even if the revolution hadn’t happened. The US would have demanded more and more from us. Then they would have eventually done exactly what they are doing to us now.

Plaza Accords in Japan. Tearing up NAFTA as they are doing now. Extorting the PGCC for money, etc.

Well, I guess when you spend 47 years chanting "Death to America" and you take their embassy personnel hostage without any justification whatsoever, you cannot really say they turned against you for no reason, right?

Russia is Zionist to the core. Half of Russian billionaires are Jewish. The country has been heavily infiltrated with Zionism since the October revolution.

When asked about Iran and Israeli attacks on Iran last year, Putin said that he would never do something that would harm Israel and Israel is an almost Russian-speaking country. He isn't wrong though, most of the worst shits in Israel are from Soviet countries. Slavic Zionists are by far the worst ones.
Agree w ith the last part.

About Iran, if by now a person doesn't understand that Iran's existence is the problem to zio's, that person is retarded. They want no large powerful county in the region. Even if Iran screams I love America for 47 years. This is the reason zio's are already starting to talk about Turkey and Egypt 'next'. The existence of any large powerful country in the region is unacceptable. Whether Islamic, democratic, lesbian or otherwise.

They didn't ditch us because of the Saudis. Iran went through an Islamic revolution and turned extremely anti-American and anti-Imperialist. We cut off our ties with Israel immediately and decided to export our revolution to nearby countries. When the hardliners in Tehran were taking the US embassy, the US ambassador was meeting our government officials to discuss bilateral trade. This is why the US ambassador was never arrested by the students who stormed the embassy. This is history, and even the Islamic Republic does not deny this.

Yeah, we are where we are now unfortunately but history will judge us all. Our period in history books will be judged as the period where Iran sacrificed its own state for the cause of Palestine and a useless nuclear program that cost us trillions but was destroyed in a single day.

You have figured out American foreign policy for brown and black people. Just look at the GCC puppets and how America has screwed them over with this war and is willing to sacrifice them for itself and Israel.

Damaged if you bother ever checking the Missile Thread
2/6 damaged. Others not damaged.
Not for SRBM and that was a proof of concept. If it ever existed it was exhausted in the war.

You going to fire from Shomal at UAE? Does that make sense to you?
Who said anything about Shomal? Aren’t we using MRBMs to target Kuwait anyway?

Iran is isolated. Turkey, Egypt and Pakistan are not. No matter how you look at it, Iran made a strategic mistake by trying to solve the issue of Israel on its own. An issue that was not an imminent danger to us.

If anything, Israel is more of an imminent threat to both Turkey and Egypt than it is to Iran.

Saddam was our buddy until he wasn't. Or he got too big for his britches.

We provided them with a LOT of hardware as well during the 1980-88 war. We used some of it when we went back in 2003. A few warehouses full of still in the box M1919 machineguns were located. They were rebarreled and put on trucks for convoy duty.

Its a huge topic. But basically what happened is that the shah had a special deal with the US. They allowed him to raise oil prices as long as he spent much of the profit on US weapons. The Europeans objected because they couldn’t (didn’t want to) handle the prices. Inflation was wrecking Europe. They increased prices of their exports and Iran continued to raise oil prices. The shah eventually tried to get all the Arabs on his side, but they told the US that they can be his new man. So the US no longer had any use for the Shah. And since he was causing problems for the Europeans they ditched him.
