Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Calm down. It's just another dog and pony show by that isreali puppet in the white house. The possibility of a full scale invasion and destruction of Iran is now very slim. Yes slim bcz they have realized that they cannot defeat Iran militarily.
And as I said after few hours the orange bufoon has cancelled the strikes on Iran lol after promising to hit Iran hard tonight.
This man has literally turned geo politics into a kindergarten.
Though on the other hand it's obvious US understand the language of tit for tat not respect. US only stops when they know they will be injured as well.Because their military planners know better than their lunatic president. There are reports that they ha to kick trump out of war room because he was annoying everyone there.

Hmm...or is Brent and WTI prices staying at $90 because US is bleeding it's SPR out daily to keep oil prices down?
It's a combination of the two. US oil executives have been raising the alarm for the past few weeks. Some of us get it. There are a couple who don't.

FWIW, after 16 weeks of decline, US gasoline inventories were actually up by a few million barrels from the previous week. I suspect the refiners have made changes to produce more gasoline instead of other products, or, the US is not exporting as much due to political pressure here on the home front. The summer driving season is about to get underway in earnest.

In the other thread, Raptor is crowing that the price of gasoline in his area is down. In mine it is barely moving. Average is holding at $4.49. I'll have to pull the latest US EIA data to see what the trend is both regionally and nationally.

Hitting bases in Jordan was a good move.

A few hits on radar sites in Iraq and Jordan would deny early warning to the Israel Iron Dome. That should increase the probability of hits if Iranian missiles were to strike Israel.
Let's admit something also that was staring us in the face all this while- we never knew how vulnerable fighter jets are to ballistic missile attacks when they are on the ground, which is where they spend alot of time during war. Wow.

Well commercial aviation -> optimized for airtime not ground time. Military aviation -> optimized to perform at or above req thresholds when it matters. Military uptime is like what ~40-50% of total strength at one time, the rest are on the ground... not underwater IMO.

Hitting and clearing a radar bind highway into isreal for missiles is a great chess move, it enables next round of war -> if Trump so chooses, it increases stakes for the right pressure point of US allies.

Iran wins as long as it survives -> they are dominating defence of their turf, 360 in the modern era where kinetic and non-kinetic, contact and non-contact war and Narrative craft is used as its also the 250 year cycle of superpower stability coming to an end and a new cycle begins...

First there were the Dutch, then British and then the Americans... there was a time it was said, the Sun never sat on the British Empire... well with US and its ~800 bases not the same analogy?

Iran is a catalyst state... in the framework - we as a nation need prep for a period of potential prolonged war... thankfully we have combat knowledge and experience barring governance issues.

Its correct to say Pakistan, FM Asim Munir opposed this war, he travelled to the Usa and showed his opposition, Pakistan supported Iran at all international platforms, worked with China, also stopped Iran Arab war. Credit should be given where due.

You are right about Pakistan, especially Asim Munir's role.
But Trump keeps praising Asim Munir is Trump portraying himself as a well connected person about geopolitics and knows important people 'out there'. In his puny brain, Asim Munir and PM Shehbaz Sharif are easy to remember and repeat. That's basically it.

Ok bomb again? What’s that gonna achieve? Iran isn’t Gaza the size of a postage stamp.
In 60 days Put on the blockade again. It will take time to bite again. Meanwhile August turns into September which turns in October. There is no military solution to this problem despite what your Brain likes to tell you.

Good post.
60 days later, Iran will have more money, will have more weapons, will have nabbed more spies inside Iran. That is if a truce lasts for 60 days. If there is even the 60 day pause, as being reported today, then the Israelis are already upset over that. Watch Max Blumenthal today on Judge Napolitano about Israel's reaction.

Lets assume for Fun... Bibi had leverage through epstein to make Trump say yes to Iran attack thanks to the 'yes man' effect trump is surrounded with... i.e. AIPAC affiliates aka the SWAP...

now imagine this "convincing the US" is going on for months and Top Boss over lunch, in the presence of other sensitive people said No - dont do it...

and then SHIT HITS THE FAN...

You call the guy that predicted the shit and trust him... Human Psychology.
Plus Top boss give Trump non-isreali grounds to stand on inside the administration.. Political Ground

Trump + Shahbaz in Egypt was pure gold... I think both of them enjoy swimming in pools... so he likes him...thankfully pakistan HAS a PM is now better known internationally to be able to competently do something.

overall Shahbaz + top boss combo on:
May 2025 war A
Iran crisis A+
Economic planning, tax and $s F
Economic value delivery C-

Around the June 2025 war on Iran, FM Munir had the 'private lunch'. Only the ISI Chief from Pakistan was present during that lunch. Trump had Rubio and maybe one or two more besides him from the American side. I'd love to know what they discussed there but I believe there was broad agreement of Pakistan's role in the Middle East. And after the Private Lunch, Trump said something like 'He is not happy with the situation' (implying, Asim Munir didn't like the war on Iran) and 'they [Pakistanis] know the Iranians better than most'.
We are seeing a continuation of Trump-Munir bonhomie to this day. And as far as Pakistan is concerned, the IMF keeps bailing out the sorry Pakistani economy and 70 of Pakistan's F-16s have / are being updated till 2040 to the level of reaching Rafale like quality. Not too bad for a little flattery done by the Pakistanis. Ask the Indians!
