G3 rifle, correct?
Negative.

FAL. L1A1 configuration. Once standard issue of the British and Australian armies.

This is a G3:

Pakistan makes a copy under license. Pakistan copies in semi-auto only are available in the US. Well-built. I plan to get one.

We had a recent President who said something similar. Yet, a bunch of barefoot, cave-dwelling, 7th Century throwbacks with filthy beards wearing dirty nightshirts carrying AKs managed to outlast the might of not just the US but the much hyped Soviet Red Army.

I made a note to myself to start carrying my AK instead of the AR.
Afghanistan is a tough one AZ........

Iranians are pretty ghaad darn civilized (westernized n educated) compared to them Afghanis and eventually there's goin be some semblance of an agreement/ truce/ detente. US/ Iran can get their shit together and talk, down da road and more than likely do business together. Not far fetched a narrative.

The gap between the US/ Talibunnies was just a chasm a mile deep n wide.

There was just no common ground whatsoever. Just hopeless.......

they destroyed most of the bridges and power plants in Serbia

if Iran didn't have missiles to threaten the regional power plants, we would end up like Serbia
And let me say this honestly and soberly- none of us on this forum has felt an Iranian ballistic missile land near them before, luckily ,but if we knee what that was like, nobody would underestimate those power- we can see their destructive and deterrence effects. how strong are the bombs that modern air forces carry? Obviously not even close to 1 heavy BM that lands on target. Israel is still traumatized from and can't forget the old scuds saddam fired at Israel decades ago.

I went to engineering school with Iranians. I liked them. Damn smart.

So, realistically, assuming that this ceasefire extension goes through and Trump isn't lying again, what can Iran do during these 60 days to defend itself better next time? Besides production of a couple hundred ballistic missiles and drones, is there anything else that Iran can do during this time?

The 60-day extension is clearly good for the US and Israel as it gives them time to prepare for the next round and it gives the world economy more time to prepare for the next round as well. Most likely, oil prices will return back to less than $80 per barrel. However, I do not think Iran can use this extension to improve its AD or get military equipment from either Russia or China.

Also, now that Israel is not part of this extension, what will happen to Hezbollah?

@Persian Gulf @Immortals

Iran does not need to change its current tactics There is a deadline for this war to complete for US is the beginning of August that’s where the US Strategic petroleum reserve will be running out and that is what is keeping the oil price from Rocketing as they are shipping it to Western economies at a large profit to the US it must be said.
