Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Of course.

We need to sign the deal to see what's in the deal.

I see what you did there, but legislation within a public body is very different than negotiations and treaties between countries.

I predict there will be steps that both sides will be able to highlight to their own internal audiences, to prove to them that they came out ahead of the other party.

That is merely sound geopolitics.

Many in Iran want the war to continue, but the decision was made to make peace.

I feel like the third round of war will begin in near future. I hope the Arabs don't act foolishly like before and don't side with Israel and America, otherwise they will be easily destroyed.

I was told India would be clearing the US from the Indian Ocean. Was that person wrong?

I wouldn't refer to Pakistan as Uncle Sam's bag carrier. Pakistan understands the western mindset as well as they do the Asian.

And so should Bangladesh for that matter.
In a sense, Trump’s draw down of tactical aircraft with NATO in Europe, and the Saudi-Pak defense agreement meaning Pakistan takes over some of the GCC protection duties from the US, allows the US to focus on the Indo-Pacific.

Pakistan’s actions align with US long term interests. Pakistan has demonstrated a military prowess (2025) and diplomatic commitment (2026), carefully carving itself as a pivot point in Asia. A well balanced position.

Um..stubborn Sandhu, that's called being objective. If US spanked Iran, those same non Iranians would have said so too.
He is just another colluddzz convert pumping cheese in some hole somewhere rooting for the status quo.

even the donkeys now know Irans totally won this:

what is this, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 4?
If he wanted to restart the war he could have done it by now. If anything iran should sign a nuclear deal with the US to use as leverage in a future Israel attack. We can tell Trump that if he assists Israel even passivley in a attack on Iran the strait of hormuz will close and the nuclear deal will be torn up.

BREAKING: 14 POINT MOU BETWEEN IRAN-U.S TO BE SIGNED ON FRIDAY

1. The permanent and immediate halt of war on all fronts, including Lebanon.

2. A U.S. commitment not to interfere in Iran’s internal affairs and to respect the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

3. The complete lifting of the naval blockade within 30 days.

4. A U.S. commitment to withdraw its forces from the areas surrounding Iran.

5. The reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days under Iranian “arrangements”.

6. The suspension of oil sanctions, petrochemical products and derivatives, and Iran’s full access to the financial proceeds from them.

7. The requirement for the US & its allies to present reconstruction plans for Iran worth at least $300 billion.

8. Sixty days of negotiations to reach a final agreement based on nuclear issues and the complete lifting of primary and secondary U.S. sanctions, as well as UN Security Council resolutions and resolutions of the IAEA Board of Governors.

9. Iran’s reiteration of its commitment under the NPT not to produce nuclear weapons.

10. During the negotiation period, the U.S. has committed not to add to its forces in the region and not to impose any new sanctions.

11. The release of $24 billion of Iran’s frozen funds during the 60-day period of final negotiations. Half of this amount must be made available to Iran before the negotiations begin.

12. The formation of a supervisory mechanism to implement the agreement.

13. The final agreement will be approved through a UN Security Council resolution.

14. Final negotiations will not begin before half of Iran’s frozen funds are released, Iran’s oil sanctions are suspended, and the naval blockade is lifted. The final agreement will be limited only to the fate of enriched materials and enrichment, sanctions relief, and the program for rebuilding Iran’s economy.

Note: Discussions about Iran’s missile program and support for Resistance groups have been definitively removed from the agenda.

So these are the points from the Iranian side. Would be curious as to how they are written from the American.

Until we get reliable confirmation that US Naval assets are leaving their blockade line, don't count any chickens before they've hatched.
Yes, the US Naval vessels moving away, which they are supposed to within 30 days of the start of the Deal, will be the pivotal moment. Let's keep an eye on that.

Nailed it.
Basically, Trump is finally seeing the sense in Obama's 'pivot' to the Indo Pacific policy! And as I had said recently in this thread, in the Munir-Trump Private Lunch, Pakistan was given a larger role in the Middle East. And as much as I like Pakistan to stay away from the Middle East, the Middle East can't stay away from Pakistan. So embrace what the geography is imposing on Pakistan!

PS. @Lulldapull and I have been consistent for weeks that the war was essentially over and in our understanding that Iran had the upper hand. I believe we both stand vindicated.
