So these are the points from the Iranian side. Would be curious as to how they are written from the American.

Until we get reliable confirmation that US Naval assets are leaving their blockade line, don't count any chickens before they've hatched.
Yes, the US Naval vessels moving away, which they are supposed to within 30 days of the start of the Deal, will be the pivotal moment. Let's keep an eye on that.

In a sense, Trump’s draw down of tactical aircraft with NATO in Europe, and the Saudi-Pak defense agreement meaning Pakistan takes over some of the GCC protection duties from the US, allows the US to focus on the Indo-Pacific.
Pakistan’s actions align with US long term interests. Pakistan has demonstrated a military prowess (2025) and diplomatic commitment (2026), carefully carving itself as a pivot point in Asia. A well balanced position.

Nailed it.
Basically, Trump is finally seeing the sense in Obama's 'pivot' to the Indo Pacific policy! And as I had said recently in this thread, in the Munir-Trump Private Lunch, Pakistan was given a larger role in the Middle East. And as much as I like Pakistan to stay away from the Middle East, the Middle East can't stay away from Pakistan. So embrace what the geography is imposing on Pakistan!

PS. @Lulldapull and I have been consistent for weeks that the war was essentially over and in our understanding that Iran had the upper hand. I believe we both stand vindicated.

Time will tell. If you follow the other thread, this is clearly an enchanted victory by the US.

Many in Iran want the war to continue, but the decision was made to make peace.

I feel like the third round of war will begin in near future. I hope the Arabs don't act foolishly like before and don't side with Israel and America, otherwise they will be easily destroyed.

Learn to read the room!

Arabs didn't sign up to die doe zion... they didn't own it even though zion had primed them for this very day! Besides the proxies got cold feet and there was no resistance at home front ... what both Mileikowsky and baby shah had promised. All of these are just one front... second, zion got exposed like never before ... this was all they could muster with full support of US... this entity had all the weapons and tech in the world ... they had their finances taken care of by the collective, compliant media and political landscape... which they have thoroughly monopolized in their favor. They believed their own hype...
Nothing achieved on it's merits but deceit... over promised and under delivered! This war will raise a new generation of Iranians... with newfound confidence, grounded and conscious of their place in the world.

That bodes well for the whole region where hope will encourage more can do attitude among the Arabs as well... who have limped along from one form of slavery to another.

Of course all is not rosy and war still looms especially zion has only been thwarted, not defeated!

Trump forced Iran to submit with nothing but empty promises that would inevitably collapse, without taking any concrete action. It’s obvious what will happen next. Israel will relentlessly bomb Lebanon and Yemen to dismantle their alliances. The U.S. will ramp up missile production, infiltrate spies into Iran, and prepare for a surprise attack. Once those preparations are complete, they will demand Iran’s surrender. If refused, they will bomb the country, it’s as simple as that. I’m a bit dumbfounded by people who keep getting duped like this time and time again.

So these are the points from the Iranian side. Would be curious as to how they are written from the American.
Just sharing updates, do not know exactly what is the official agreement unless released. Usa side is saying Iran agreed to open Strait of Hormuz and it will be toll free, also Iran will not build nukes and will be kept under watch.

US is powerless to make a diff now. Irans checkmated trump by blocking the SOH and that Mandeb strait.

Problem now is that time's on Irans side. The longer this drags, the more all them toady/ colluddzz scream in pain and the pressure builds on trump to just walk away.

And if trump continues being a teenaged gurl.......Irans goin pummel the GCC and increase the pressure until trump throws in da towel.

It is not an American defeat. More like an Israeli debacle. And hence the Israelis are very upset.

In Israel, Broad Discontent Over the Emerging U.S. Deal With Iran

Israelis across the political spectrum have said the deal appears to leave fundamental security threats posed by Iran unaddressed.

The main headline of Sunday’s Yediot Aharonot, a popular Hebrew daily, summed up in two words the prevailing sentiment in Israel over President Trump’s emerging cease-fire agreement with Iran: “Bad Deal.”

Israel waged two wars against Iran in the past year, the most recent one the campaign launched in late February with U.S. forces. Now Israel, which had not been a party to the Trump administration’s negotiations with Iran, is being left out of the potential peace.

Even before the announcement came on Sunday that a cease-fire agreement had been reached, the details that had surfaced in news media reports prompted a flood of criticism and expressions of discontent from Israelis spanning the country’s political spectrum.

American and Iranian officials have said that under an initial “memorandum of understanding,” Iran would reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a critical shipping route for the global economy, and the United States would lift its blockade on Iranian ports. The cease-fire that the two sides agreed to in April would be extended for 60 days. During that period, both sides would commit to holding detailed negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program, and over the lifting of U.S. sanctions on Iran.

Iran’s SNSC Secretariat official statement regarding the MoU:

The Islamic Republic of Iran, in light of the guidance of its martyred Leader, has completed its superiority over the American-Zionist enemy.

Under the measures of the esteemed Leader, the support of all segments of the people, and the selfless efforts of the fighters of Islam, following several months of difficult and intensive negotiations, and based on the approval of the SNSC, the text of the memorandum of understanding regarding negotiations to end the war, “the Islamabad negotiations,” was finalized between Iran and the United States on the evening of June 14th.

According to the agreements reached, the war and military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, will end immediately and permanently from tonight.

In addition, the naval blockade against Iran will be ended immediately and completely.

The signing of this memorandum of understanding will officially take place on Friday.

Negotiations for a final agreement will be postponed until after the other side’s commitments are implemented in accordance with the memorandum of understanding.

The Islamic Republic of Iran expresses its appreciation for the efforts of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the government of Qatar.

A frontal attack on Iran was denied by every American President for decades. This was not America's war to begin with. End of the story.

Test for Trump and co if they can reign Israel in.

And why is the whole agreement so hush hush? Should be made public, only gives more legitimacy.

I still cannot see how this will workout. Iran without sanctions will become 10x powerful, more missile cities, missiles, airforce, navy etc. Israel will never accept this, they are already crying about Turkey. Also Israel will continue to bomb Lebanon and Gaza which will lead to problems between Iran and Israel. Anyways very unusual from the Usa, learning from history ie Libya, Syria, Iraq and others, Usa dismantled those who challenged them. Ofcourse all old Iranian leadership has been assassinated but I believe nothing had changed from Iran side unless I am wrong and Iran is willing to give and take.

Israel will not listen, even before its creation the zionist did terrorism, if they face no threat they will create one and fight against it.
