2006 was a different situation whatsoever. The argument of size works both ways, smaller size means that air defense has an easier job to detect and shoot down the FPVs. The reality is that 20 years ago is irrelevant to today.

I don´t understand. I would never say that about an airliner with people in it or even a plane with skydivers like that crashed in the us a few days ago. But bombers? Bombers are purely offensive. Even fighter jets are a different category, they could in theory be used for defense of your own airspace, which is ridiculous too since nobody would attack the us. But bombers? I genuinely don't get some people here. Russians supporting the likes of hezb against Israel? Lol don't people realise that major chunk of Israeli population is ethnic Russians? Some of the most extremist terrorist are ethnic Russians in Israel. And besides even if Putin woke up one day and decided to help, what exactly will he help with?
