Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

One of the best from George S Patton:

"No dumb bastard ever won a war by going out and dying for his country. He won it by making some other dumb bastard die for his country"

It is one of my favorite quotes that I have posted on PDF many times. Many still do not get it, perhaps intentionally. Oh well.

It applies 100% to this thread as well.

The way I see it. Iran intention from the begining to enrich uranium a step below weapons grade was never to make bomb but to show capability and use it to get rid of sanctions.

Right. Kind of like climbing to a dive board at a swimming pool, strutting up there, letting everyone know jump is an option.

Also, I don't know why there is so much suspense about the MOU terms. What we will see will be in a diplomatic, vague language to give a sense of victory to both sides. However, the intent and the hidden content is for all to see by the anger among the Israelis and the Israel firsters in America.

I've explained this repeatedly. It's the basic concept of keeping your head low and building, as much as you can for as long as you can or as long as you need. How is this concept difficult for anyone to grasp? I can't be expected to repeat this answer again.
The problem is American policy of coups and autocracies, which disturbs the political and social evolution of Mideast nations and keeps them devoted to serving American interests instead of their own. It makes it is impossible to "keep your head down and build" unless you throw off the American yoke itself.
When you give the bastard enough of what it wants then it will leave you alone-er. If not as much as Turkey then at least as much as Pakistan.
Why would they leave you alone if you keep giving it what it wants ? Isn't it more natural to expect the demands to simply keep increasing ?

Witness the Mideast countries who have given America endless cheap energy, bought endless amount of its weapons, endless amount of its goods, endlessly kiss its rear and even sacrifices its children in American proxy wars, yet do you feel the US is satisfied and will now leave the region alone ?
Again, I've mentioned this very basic understanding before and will not repeat it again after this. Not poking does not ensure being left alone but gives you a chance at it. Poking ensures you have no chance.
"Not poking" is an option that exists only in your imagination. In the real world the below partial list illustrates the wars that the US has subjected the region to since WW2 :

1. Iran 2025
2. Iran 2024
3. Afghanistan 1980's to present
4. Pakistan 1980 to 1990, 2001 to 2021
5. Israel-Palestine 1948 to present
6. Iraq 1992 to present
7. Iran-Iraq war 1980 to 1988
8. Lebanon 1970s to present
9. Syria 2010 to 2024
10. Yemen 1990s to present.
11. Arab-Israel war 1967
12. Arab-Israel war 1973

Why did the US do it ? Because of oil, because of its war lobby, because of Israel, because of its policy of domination. It nothing to do with "poking the bear".

What's wrong with UAE MBZ - seems like feeling down or something

This is what losing a war looks like.

Why are these monarchs in DC to bend their knee one by one …. I thought they had sold their honour , self respect and countries long time back ….

I think he was drinking heavy alcohol or something - very depression due to the massive losses in UAE. You can tell in the second video.

Actually no such "massive" losses except tourism. Their primary revenue stream is oil anyway which they were selling about half of it via the pipelines. With high oil prices even that half output was giving enough revenue.

Yes there were losses but not something which could really strain their super wealthy economies. KSA, Qatar and UAE and extremely rich countries due to oil. The losses are'nt that much. With strait being re-opened their economies will earn 100s of billions moving forward as they were doing. US benefits the most with their booming economies, because these countries buys super expensive US weapons and invests in US. That's why Trump so badly wanted the deal, so that oil can freely flow. Everything is connected.

oil waivers will generate > $5 billion per month in oil sales for Iran

likely more given the accumulation of oil tankers inside the Persian Gulf
