The Israeli military confirmed that a ceasefire was in effect, but later a spokesman said its forces would "continue to remove immediate threats".

An odd concept of a ceasefire we have come to understand of "you cease, we continue firing".

Iran is right to call this out.

Russia and China being our allies is just American/zio propaganda to turn Iran into another fake threat to the Europeans. Its another version of the propaganda that Iran is trying to kill all Sunnis and replace them with Shias to gang up Sunnis against Iran. Or that Iran has a Persian imperialistic agenda to turn the Persian gulf arabs against us. Its remarkable how effective dumb propaganda is. People need to wake up.

I disagree with that. How many times do you want me to cite hardline Iranian media that they talked about an Iran-China-Russia axis? I can find countless such articles on hardline newspapers like mashreghnews with a simple search on Google.

There have always been a group of people inside Iran who try to portray China and Russia as our strategic allies. Nothing can be further from the truth.

Even if the Americans and the Zionists use this fictional alliance against us, there are many people inside Iran that promote this idea. Not to mention that we literally got ourselves involved in Russia's mess in Ukraine for no good reason.

I don’t believe Trump wants a deal. He’s just stalling. If he was being honest, he would have made the deal and pulled his military out of Israel. Let Iran and Israel fight eachother. Iran agrees to not target American assets in the region, and the US agrees to not use those assets to protect Israel. Its not difficult, right?

Yes, he doesn't want a deal. As I said, both sides are temporarily benefitting from this 60-day extension. Trump has brought down oil prices, allowing countries to fill their strategic petroleum reserves with cheap oil before the next round begins. Iran was running out of storage space and can empty its storage and sell its oil. We needed this because we didn't have an answer to the US blockade.

But every war eventually ends some way. Either Iran survives this war and wins it, or we will lose this war. If we lose this war, then the discussion about our future ties with the US is futile because the US will enforce its terms on us. If we win this war, the US will have to learn to coexist with Iran. This is what has happened with every US adversary before.

Once the US realizes that Iran is not going to be defeated, it will eventually change course. As of now, they still hope that with a few more attempts, going harder on us, they would be able to crack us.

Yes, but as you pointed out, we have put ourselves in this situation. The Americans and the Zionists are using our own blunder against us, they are not making it up.

Look at the situation with Shahed drones. We nearly emptied our own stock of Shahed drones. To this day, nobody knows what we have received from Russia in return. Probably nothing. Besides that, it was supposed to be production under license, but now Russia has modified Shahed without sharing their own technology with us. A one-sided deal.

This one-sided arrangement is the result of years of unrealistic visions based on ideological decision making.

The motto of our foreign ministry is "Na Sharghi, Na Gharbi, Jomhuriy-e Eslami", but we have completely tilted towards the Eastern bloc in the last 2 decades and it has led to nothing but further isolation of us on the international stage.

Settling with the west doesn’t work as long as American politicians are working for Israel. Settling with the west doesn’t work as long as American politicians are working for Israel. The only solution to this is to keep the strait closed and hope for a world wide depression that hits the US so hard that the Americans themselves rise up and take care of their corrupt government. Something that’s not easily achieved, especially when we have no allies and it probably would even force NATO to join the war against us. Maybe even the Chinese would join.

We didn't settle our score with the West, we surrendered to an unfair deal that benefitted the Europeans, mainly France, Germany and Italy, for the most part. The JCPOA was a mistake, it put Iran in a much weaker position than before, encouraging the idea that Iran cannot stand against the US, but if we survive this war and we prove we can defend ourselves against the US militarily, we will be in a stronger position.

The Americans are not going to rise up and take care of their corrupt government. The situation in the United States is bound to get worse, regardless of what Iran does. I remember somebody said that the French revolution started because 20% of the wealth was controlled by less than 1% of the population. More than 30% of the wealth in the US is controlled by less than 5% of the people and average Americans live paycheck to paycheck but nobody is doing anything about it except for some Gen-Z rants on the internet.
