The truth it is China sent planes with perclorate for missiles and during the war parts for manufacturing drones.

We know also MANPADs.

This and political support in UNSC was enough. And proved to be sufficient.

But support from China to Irán was and it is unquestionable.

China did the bare minimum required to maintain its interest in Central Asia.

China deserves no praise or criticism for its role in the war.

China rarely gets involved in geopolitics.

China only makes an exception for Pakistan and North Korea. Because both nations have stood by China through thick and thin.

Pakistan famously parcelled a piece of land to China to enable China to have a contiguous border.

And North Korea provides a buffer against US aggression in the pacific.

Currently, China has only 3 formal or informal allies judging by the close cooperation between the militaries and govs. NK is the only formal military ally of China bound by treaty and it is very critical to China's security, Pakistan and Russia can be said as informal allies as there are no treaties existed between them. So, Iran isn't an ally and one can expect no direct Chinese military involvement.

I agree you can´t ask China to intervene in the war.

And I agree China sent the minimum to help Irán to win the war.

But I disagree at one point. Irán should be grateful. Without chinese support the war would, at least if not lost last for months.

China is exporting the 40% of EV just in Spain. I don´t know the levels in others countries, but just here the percentage it is that.

So they must careful when delivering military assistance or political support to Irán not to fall in secondary sanctions.

Nobody says to give China the future of the country. But China needs Irán, and gave enough support for win the war fast. And IMO that is not questionable.

Chinese actions over decades clearly demonstrates Pakistan is way above Russia as an ally.

China pulled all the levers to support Pakistani pilots to shoot down Indian jets.

If China showed similar commitments to Russia - Ukraine would be toast.

It suits China to have a weak Russia depended on China.

Yeah, Pakistan has been a long standing strategic partner of China for more than 65 years, much longer than Russia since the two countries signed Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation two decades ago. Soviet Union was an ally of China in the 1950s, but then they split and became hostile mainly due to Soviet chauvinism until 1990s. On Ukraine war, China can't really go out to fully support Russia since Russia is viewed in China as the aggressor in the war enentough China said it understands Russia was being cornered by NATO. If Russia were to be invaded say by NATO, China's support for Russia would be completely different even with a range of military support. For its own security, China doesn't want to see Russia fall under NATO.

The talks between the two parties are set to begin shortly, the Swiss Foreign Ministry said as delegations from the US, Iran, Pakistan and Qatar arrived at the venue.

A senior official of the Prime Minister’s Office told Dawn that a delegation-level meeting of four countries was expected to be held 4pm PKT, where the heads of the delegations are expected to speak. It is not yet confirmed if the Pakistani delegation will return today, the source added.

State broadcaster PTV, which is reporting live from Burgenstock, said that technical-level talks between the US and Iranian delegations could “extend into tomorrow” and that there was no formal timeframe announced yet, and that the discussions would continue for “as long as necessary”.

However, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei, speaking to IRNA, said that a one-day session was planned, which is expected to feature bilateral meetings with mediators Pakistan and Qatar in the morning, followed by quadrilateral talks in the afternoon.
