Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

The Saudis are staunchly anti-Iranian? Why do you think so?

I've already answered this; regional political power tussles that used religious sectarian thought as a political tool to gain influence in the compliant regional populations. Hence why you can find Pakistanis willing to die for Iran and/or Saudi Arabia.

Dozens of history books and papers have also been written on it. Google will help. It's accessible everywhere, outside of Saudi Arabia as well.

Because the Salafist of Saudi Arabia are at odds with the Shia ulema of Iran.

Take it then that they are hunky dory with Hinduism? The Salafists of Saudi Arabia are at odds with every other school of thought, including yours. Why are they not as passionate against the rest, including objectively Pagan societies? No country in the world runs its geopolitics on religion, including Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Israel. Religious rhetoric is just a tool to control the naive masses and further their own objectives. Same way you used it to gather recruits for Afghanistan.

Before the Iranian revolution Saudi Arabia and Iran were allies.

You've answered it yourself. Iran was just as Shia and Saudi Arabia just as Salafi before the revolution. What changed? The revolution wasn't a religious movement and it did not change the religious landscape. It was a domestic political movement which presented regional political challenges for the Saudis through the new rulers' own regional political aims. Same issue was faced by Iraq, despite (and because of) their majority Shia population. With the shift in regional dynamics we've been seeing them both change course over the past few years.

Significant American concession to Iran

Considering how things are going, could we potentially see embassies opening in each other's territories?

I know its a long shot, but these negotiations seem more like normalization talks, rather than nuclear talks.

:ROFLMAO:

Israeli TV nonsense :

"Iran is using electromagnetic brain wave weapon´s to brainwash americans including Trump to do their biddings"

Very interesting!
Also, those who have been questioning the value of the MOU may want to read that long article which @Watandar posted above which has the Neo Cons crying over the MOU.

Background for the above Tweet, per Jpost

------------------------
A joint statement released by the mediating countries, Qatar and Pakistan, announced the creation of a Lebanon deconfliction mechanism on Monday.

According to the mediators, this entails a direct US-Iranian track to terminate military operations in Lebanon and appears to include the Lebanese government but not Israel.

It also appears to exclude France and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), which had previously been involved in peacekeeping in Lebanon.

The mediators did not explain how that would operate or resolve the current hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah.

Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, lauded the new mechanism, calling it "major progress to end Lebanon War," and saying that the first real test was the "Lebanon deconfliction cell."

It's clearly stupid nonsense, but whenever Jews accuse somebody of something, take it as a confession. The Jews take "every accusation is a confession" to the next level.

I'm not saying such a technology exists or could exist, but it shows you how much the Jews are invested in this mass brainwashing stuff.

Another mea culpa by a conservative journalist, albiet one whom I have never heard of. He admits the US went into this war with no plan and is very bitter about its defeat.

He´s lying himself.
He just limite the defeat to a kind of mistaken calculus about the control of Strait of Hormuz, and that is a obvious lie.

Even before controlling the Strait of Hormuz, Iran was already giving the US a beating. They hit to the point to empty all military bases in Middle East. They lost long range radar, SAM launchers and more than a dozen of aircrafts just in the bases.

More than 3 dozen of aircrafts were shot down, creating a de facto A2/AD zone. Probably two dozen were drones, but 2 C130 were shootdown, 6 helicopters and at least 3 fighters. And re deployment of new forces in rural areas was promising more prizes for IRGCADF.

The carriers were operating to the limit of the radius combat of their aircrafts. In addition to that, the denial of the use of US bases in the Region caused long refueling flights where two tanker planes were lost due to enemy action and a third was seriously damaged. They were operating from Israel or even Cyprus in countless hours of flight just to enter in a contested airspace were SAM SHORADS of IR seekers were ambushing them.

No, before loosing Strait of Hormuz, THEY LOST THE WAR.

I've just read some posts on Hebrew X saying Iran is using Worlds Mass Destruction weapons to brainwash Trump and force him to sign the deal with it and propagate antisemitic ideas with microwaves

They claim they use electromagnetic waves that can alter the brain and make the whole body relax, making it easier for anyone to accept something

Apparently they say Araghchi holds this miniature system hidden inside his suit

Of course they lost the war and for more reasons than just the Hormuz strait. But this is about as much as they will admit in defeat. You still have Americans and their flunkies who claim the US never lost in Vietnam or Afghanistan!

On its current course, Israel is doomed. Chas Freeman has said that multiple times.
The West Bank is too heavily monitored by the Israelis to rise again. But taking Gaza by force will exact large casualties and we know how Israelis are casualty-averse; as it is there are recruitment concerns in the Israeli military.

It's not just the military consequences of taking gaza or the west bank that's the problem for Israel

They have the military to do that especially if the U.S supports them, it's the moral human fallout

They take Gaza, they take WB, that means MILLIONS of Palestinians under occupation, and constant scrutiny of Israel

Netenyahu will die knowing that Israel is in danger of collapsing

The optics will fool your average MAGA supporter, not the US congressmen loyal to Israel.

It doesn’t matter, MAGA ie Trump has way more power in this Congress than Obama ever did when he tried to push JCPOA.

Republicans will ultimately fall in line because this is Trump’s foreign policy achievement. You might have some APAIC crazy congressmen (Ted Cruz) who will dissent. But at the end of the day, most Republican congressman don’t have the balls to stand against Trump. Especially with mid terms coming up and gas prices needing to fall.

Iran already has a consulate inside the Pakistan embassy in D.C.

Important to note that the U.S. Embargo on Iran still is in effect. I doubt we will see U.S. embassy opening in Tehran until Iran gets actual benefits under this JCPOA 2.0 and doesn’t get tricked [again].

So I wouldn’t expect a embassy opening for likely years.

know its a long shot, but these negotiations seem more like normalization talks, rather than nuclear talks.

They are basically JCPOA 2.0 talks that happened under Obama. Far from normalization. The only reason Vance is there is because Rubio doesn’t want to touch this radioactive deal with a 12 foot pole before 2028 elections and Iran hates talking to Witkoff and Jared.
