LOL. Religion is a set of personal beliefs that simply does not apply in the domain of international geopolitics, and neither are there any permanent friends or enemies, only national interests prevail. Iran is the sole leader of a particular sect, pretty much isolated geopolitically, and it is paying the price for its policies.
Only fools and horses believe otherwise.
Did Italy actually assist the US in attacking Iran?
Where is @ShapurII to confirm this?
I believe he lives in Italy so should be best placed to know about this controversy started by that daddy’s boy Rutte:
US strike is just a show to assure gulf we wnt leave you alone . its assurance that we are with you. i think both parties come to their senses . nobody wants a bloody war again
I remember Bush and Blair using their Christian religious reasons to invade Iraq, bush even called it a crusade. And the Crusades and many other conflicts over the course of human history.
His trolling boils down to human beings being some robots without emotions and thus the ad nauseum 'No permanent friends in geopolitics' blah blah.
The largest US bases in Europe are in the UK, Germany and Italy. They are always heavily involved in any European or Mideast related operations.Yes, this is true.
Italy did assist the US in attacking Iran by providing them with logistics. It's been on the news for a couple of days.
Why in the world would Pakistan ever want a military alliance with Iran? Are the Iranians willing to fight wars alongside Pakistan against India and Afghanistan?@maverick @lightning f57 - this!!! Is the reason Iran could enter a military alliance with Pakistan - Islamim combined with a strong sense of self confidence and independence!! As things are currently ,Iran will never join any alliance with Turkey, because it is NATO controlled and will become a Trojan against Iran if turkey and Iran formed any military alliance. similar with Saudia- it's too integrated into US military architecture, for heaven sakes it was providing logistics for US attacks on iran- until Saudia learns to be and act independently, Iran will never join any military alliance (let's forget their low competence that won't hell Iran either). Egypt is also too much under US influence and control for Iran to form any alliance with them.
It is this this childish Iranian mindset that has lead to Iran being bombed by 2 countries in 2 years. It is hoping that Islamistan should be "Iranian allied".it's naive and confusing that some people think being Muslim and geographically located in the ME alone will qualify countries to be in a super Islamic military alliance. It's a lot more complex and ideological than that. With the decline of the US and Israel, the Western allied Muslim countries are more of a liability to other Muslim countries and could easily crumble in the near future - be warned.
Iran and Pakistan together can Regime-Change India in a couple of weeks with Indian Freedom Fighters helpWhy in the world would Pakistan ever want a military alliance with Iran? Are the Iranians willing to fight wars alongside Pakistan against India and Afghanistan?
Just in case you've missed it, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia agreed to a Defence Pact in September 2025. So that's that.
On top of that, Iran has repeatedly called for a regional security architecture after Qatar was attacked by Israel. Meaning Iran wants a security pact with all regional countries that includes Egypt, Western Asia, Pakistan and Central Asia.

Better grow up.
Iran's Government has definitely learnt it's lesson and it's looking at the new reality but it's people are yet to have their software updated post Khamenei's assassination.

Seriously?
You didn't say the dumbest thing online today, right!
You're living a world CONSTRUCTED AROUND RELIGION!
You have the menace of Mideast that has poured over from Europe that reconciles it's theft in theology. You have Arab sheikhdoms constructed around Vali Al-Amr! You have Iran around Vilayet-e-Faqih... You have British crown serving as the Supreme Governor of the Church of England and Fidei Defensor! You have catholic church running a parallel government across the world under the separation of church and state from Vatican, collecting proceeds, running schools, hospitals, bank etc...
A Hindu revisionist rashtra seeking control of the region... Russia as New Rome and of Orthodox Church.
People mask their beliefs under secular rubric... to often hide true intent. It is widely common in Europe and North America. People and states do and align themselves overwhelmingly with their theology or repurpose it when inconvenient. Everyone therefore is running it's own agenda... where some find traction others lose sight... even small sects harbor ideals of grandeur and global reach. This is foundational for many who spend lifetime keeping their head down in keeping up with the ideals of their creed...
