I don't think Iran would have ever been allowed to achieve its full potential because Iran refuses to submit to the west in controlling it, in the same way the Arab world has willingly submitted to the west.

I don't think it has to do with Palestine (well, not much but partially) but more to do with the fact that the west has been trying to install various puppets over time in Iran to try and "control it", and Iran has been resisting that control. Iranians have a very long and product history as an independent nation that goes goes as far as the Chinese in terms of history.

Post WW the west was still very powerful, especially militarily and countries that they saw useful that followed their lead were partnered with and business was done especially to vastly benefit western nations. Countries that stepped out of line had their democratic elected government's toppled, like Irans in the 50s.

One has to ask would a powerful block or nation allow competition if it does not benefit it.

Irans population, literacy, industry, natural resources would make it a major world power had it been left alone and its people chosen their leaders. We are talking stronger than likes of Germany and France but war, corruption, subjugation and many other factors has held Iran down.

Oh the Rapture! Believe me there is a truck parked a bare ten minute walk from my house with a big announcement about an incoming Rapture and the dates for that auspicious event keeps getting changed. I should a picture of that while hiding the license plate. The residence is next to a church.

In Spain, when American movies and tv shows are dubbed, usually rapture is translated to "judgement day" or something like that.

Because even being Spain a Christian country almost nobody knows what is the Rapture.

It's a strange concept of evangelical churches extracted from bible.

In Catholicism Christianity doomsday is a bad moment, of collective punishment, disaster day.

But evangelical churches, in a more individual view, that day could be wonderful if you individually are saved, even when rest of world is burning in death and pain .

A strange view for Christianity where love each other is second more important rule, after love to God.

Catholics find it extremely difficult to regard Evangelicals as Christians. They constantly quote only the Old Testament, as if they were Jews, but in a way that horrifies both Catholics and non-fanatical Jews.

A silly thought hit my mind. May be it's absolute rubbish, but if it worked, it will be a master stroke for Pakistan.

Pipeline from Iran is still incomplete. USA is not allowing to complete it. If Iran closes Persian Gulf for some, let's say 2 more months, USA may allow the completion of this pipeline. We can give the major contract to USAs companies and push Iran to sell oil for dollars. This will be a win for every party involved in current conflict ( USA , Iran, Arabs, China and Pakistan).
Then Pakistan can also bring oil and gas lines from central Asia to kpk and again contracts may go to Europeans companies. Gawader will remain Pakistan. And possibly Kashmir will also become Pakistan.

It's something we must hurry to make it happen.

I differ. The hostility to Iran started after the 1979 Iranian Revolution where the Iranian state started its regional policies, especially about Israel. If Iran had remained confined to its own borders in prosperity then it would have been different. Also, the Israelis were not always the nasty version of Israel that it has become since Netanyahu's rise in the 90s: There was a strong Israeli Left which believed in the Ben Gurion doctrine of staying within Israel's borders. Even the expansion into the West Bank was minimal until Netanyahu's 'Clean Break' doctrine of the 90s started.
Israel may have become the monolith expansionist Messianic country now but it was not always like that till Netanyahu's rise. But in a way you are not wrong: The Israel since the 90s wouldn't allow any local power to rise.

Speaking of Kashmir: Did anyone notice that recently the Pakistani and the Chinese UNSC diplomats suggested that all UNSC Resolutions to be followed. Pakistan is likely to be using its risen stature to use the UNSC against India over the Indus Water Treaty and over the UNSC Resolutions on Kashmir. India stands very vulnerable because India can no longer count on a Russian Veto in UNSC and the other three powers (USA, UK, and France) are going to be on the same side where the Americans would be. And right now, the Pakistan-USA relations are the best since the Nixon Presidency.

the right-wing italian PM is on record(admission) there that they assisted in attacks on Iran (even if its under the guise of technical/logistical)...so Italy was involved heavily. Yes Meloni the world knows what you're upto. Only fools will think that you weren't involved in attacking Iran.

Make no mistake, the West/NATO is still very much on a crusade against Islam. They recently got humbled by Pakistan(may2025), and now by Iran and are now trying to save face on the backfoot but they will regroup and will return to WAR.

We can see there's pushback in all european nations against Islam/Muslims.
Muslims are the only ones resisting a total collapse of humanity/values/submission to God so they can't tolerate it and want to finsih that off...

All these ceasefires/pauses are temporary....."peace" has now disappeared.
The years ahead we will experience bigger and more devastating wars by the west onto islamic nations

Well, the overthrow of Mosaddegh certainly led to the 1979 revolution but between 1953 and 1979, Iran's relations with the West and even Israel were not that bad.

Iran can do much more great things with Pakistan than what Saudia can do

Saudia only leverage is their unlimited cash and loans, the rest is nonexistent, they produce nothing, their arms exports are ridiculous, they import everything and rely on slavery in a feudal system

Iran produces many great things and arms, has gas, Iran can send cheap discounted drones to Pakistan to help them on an offensive perspective against India and terrorists without putting PAF at risk, and most importantly Iran and Iranians respects Pakistan and its people after all they did for Iran. Iran doesn't flog Pakistani people or cut their fingers because they didn't wash correctly a golden Lamborghini

Great things can be done with Pakistan
