Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

You don't need to wait 60 days for implementing the instructions given by Islamic Republic

Okay. Great. How are these "instructions" given by Iran working out thus far? There's your answer.

(UNCLOS 22.4 covers 12 miles as local waters.)

There is no justification for Iran to target commercial ships passing near Oman. It is also unreasonable to demand that these vessels sail closer to the Iranian side of the Strait of Hormuz so that Iran can potentially impose a toll in the future.

No country or operator would agree to such conditions for long.

I really appreciate your oppinion but this is exactly what was signed.

Point by point. No deal no passage.

With some Shaheds 101 they re slowly obeying rules.
When international law is toilet paper just shoot the butt.

Let us wait and see whose butts get TP or Shaheds. That would be a good way to tell what is going on.

You have issues with the American government I can understand. But most of the American people right now are against this war. No need to despise their citizens overall.
American voted for Trump twice. Why did they do that if they disapprove of his policies?
When trump murdered Soleimani in his first term, Americans responded by making memes about being drafted into ww3 because their only concern is how they are personally affected.
I doubt even 1% of voting age adults have ever attended a political protest. I don't see the 99% get a pass.
They aren't against the war, or bombing hospitals, or killing children. They are against high gas and grocery prices only.
I mean I have issues with several governments around the world, not the people who inhabit the country.
Regardless, yours and my tax dollars pay for the bombs that are used to kill them. We also reap the benefits of the killing and looting of these countries. 99% of americans would prefer this continue so they can keep getting next day amazon deliveries than stop it.

Actually in 2016 Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by more than 3 million people. It was the electoral college that decided the election.

Secondly keep on ranting about hating America it's fine it's the same spiel over and over again

Kamala Harris was a lousy candidate to boot

Trump won this time with the popular vote but there wasn't nearly as much as a gap as there was in 2016

Please tell me you're not foolish enough to believe every single American voted for Donald Trump. Far from it

They're operating from Saudí Arabia!!!!.
Inside of Iranian missile range!!!

If war starts this week
It will be all because of Iran actions not Israel this time.

Iran didn't hit Israel, it started attacking civil ships of neighbouring countries.
They could navigate just by the Middle of the Straits like was before. But no. They fooled iranians and burnt MOU. Go to hell with them!!!

62 mil voted for him in 2016 and 77 mil in 2024. So he did such a good job for Americans the first time he gained 15 mil votes. Won the popular vote the second time.
Secondly keep on renting about hating America it's fine it's the same spiel over and over again here. I've gotten used to it
Pleading no contest I see.

There's an US perspective thread if you're not happy with people ranting about hating America

The war started because the Jews hoodwinked the dopey Americans to start a conflict with long term economic consequences

Let's be clear, sanctions will gradually strangle Iran and that's the point of sanctions

Iran now has a way of pushing back

Iran as a free and independent state can now tell everyone to back the **** up
Iran's security, it's missile program, it's nuclear program etc are a inherent right of a free state

Iran has also incurred hundreds of billions of infrastructure damage,,
That needs to be paid back, that money will be taken via tolls on the Hormuz

ALL SHIPS MUST NOW COMPLY and pay the toll

You cannot blame Iran for a war imposed on it by the Jews and the west
You cannot blame Iran for not accepting sanctions and the status quo without pushing back

Their is massive economic fallout happening
(Those who understand, know)
The U.S now needs the Hormuz open, the oil flowing and fertilizer flowing

But the U.S doesn't want to remove sanctions on Iran, so Iran shouldn't take their foot off the Hormuz

People are free to rant and rave here as much as they want. Your opinion is no better or worse than mine. Have at it and May the force be with you

What net interest is that? To what extent can Iran exact this grind, the point where the cons of the closure will outweigh those of a more direct engagement for the US?

The deterrence had been achieved until Iran shot at those non-military boats. You can't blame this one on the US. I don't believe Iran can gain enough deterrence any time soon to enjoy impunity when attacking commercial ships in Omani waters.

They were historic events. One party happened to be Muslim, making it a perfectly reasonable counter-argument to the childishly concocted, actual religious claim made by that member that "a true Muslim never retreats". A claim that Iran would do well to ignore. That post is still up there.
I already apologised but you are welcome to continue to throw your toys out of the pram and argue with the wall.

Pleading live and let live Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by 3 million votes in 2016.

A lot more people voted for him in 2024 obviously.

Again, not every American voted for him. Not very kind to paint with a broad brush but feel free to continue if you wish

Full stop
