The strategy works given Iran's advantageous geography.

Iran is using commercial satellite data from a range of companies, mostly from China and Russia. Nothing cutting edge or military grade. And yes, those militaries are still pretty useless and ineffective against NATO.

Russia has been the laughing stock of the world ever since they attacked Ukraine and failed miserably at advancing after the 2nd year. They even retreated from Kharkiv and never took it back. At the end, Russia most likely will secure like 20% of the Ukrainian territory at great economic, military and political costs.

These two things are completely different and irrelevant to each other, anyway.

Yes, they did, but in 90s and early 2000s. So did Libya and Syria, by providing us with Scud-B and Scud-C missiles. Also, there's no comparison between Iran and China. China is a global power and Iran is a middle power at best, but that's completely irrelevant to the situation between China, Russia and NATO.

Any country that falls in the trap of fighting against the US or NATO in the hope of getting any sort of actual help from China or Russia will have the same fate of today's Iran.

@Lulldapull was trying to portray as if Chinese military is at same level given Russia's performance. There's literally no comparison of China and Russia. I know Russian military is in dire conditions, man-power issues, lack of supplies, lack of funds, lack of tactics. China on other hand is entirely at different level. Russia can't properly build a 5th gen fighter and China is already in advance stages of 6th gen fighters. Their 4.5 gen fighters literally owned Europe's most advance fighter jets in last year air combat. China's rise in robotics, AI, space capabilities (building and owning a space station of its own), and most importantly the largest navy and most advance rocket force etc are in front of everyone. NATO is only something with US. 90% of strength of NATO is US. Without it its literally useless against likes of China. Whole Europe put together can't built a 5th gen fighter. China alone has GDP higher then whole of European union. Anways, its getting long and out of topic.. I think i made my point already.
