We dont have reformers/conservatives. Now we've 2 group of politicians in Iran, anti-nuke and pro-nuke. Anti-Nuke Iranians would be ok to drive their wifes to the address of centcom generals. They could have said the fatwa is dead after the killing of the leader. They didnt. So the cuckery continues after 28 februari.

The prolonged war effects Iran the most. The biggest 3 GCC countries do not rely at SOH anymore. KSA, UAE, Oman.

UAE produced the record highest oil last month. Its now entirely using pipelines to avoid SOH. Same with KSA. and US literally don't care much if SOH remains closed for extended period of time.

The maximum effect is on Iran which cannot sell anything at all and on top facing relentless bombing campaign. Also if the two sides are unable to find a middle ground then NATO will eventually join the United States. US can also bring more carrier groups and marines to take hold of portions of Iranian territory at southern coast.

Right now, Iranian strategy is using underground / hardened missile bases. But to retake the territory captured by US forces then the Iranian land forces will have to come out in large numbers. How its going to play out when enemy fighter jets and bombers have near impunity in skies. The air power can annihilate any scale of ground forces without air cover. Small example was seen when everyone witnessed how US rescued its pilots from Iranian territory and we also saw how US apache helicopters and a tanker aircraft was flying uncontested in Iranian airspace.
 
I don't know why but people still cheat themselves from something obvious to something more hopeful... pragmatic... to plain delusional.
MoU has gone the path of JCPOA... and years of negotiations. For those who don't remember the Russian Ukraine has it's own genesis in Minsk 1 and Minsk 2... where Merkel was on record in saying that it was a deliberate attempt to buy time.
 
The US will never win this war unless they keep the same pace for the next 10 years every day and night

I know US intentions cannot be trusted. However, as ceasefire was just announced and 60 days period had started and negotiations were going on. So Iran could have given a warning to all commercial shipping to use its route if Iran is so persistent on it. If few ships pass through omani route then not a big deal. Iran could have announced that any more ships passing through omani route will be shot at. The advance clear warning would have prevented this incident.

If US would not have lifted sanctions or done other things as MoU mentioned then Iran could always shut down the strait. But Iran had to give some time for negotiations.

Many people here are saying that agreements with US means horseshit. Then why you do it at first place? Why wasted time for negotiators too? Should have told in advance. We all know, Israel started this war and it do not want the war to end. It wants US and Iran to keep fighting. So Iran should do its best to not let Israel's plan go on. How clever, they started the war and now they quietly out of war and enjoying US/Iran war with popcorns.

The tone of his tweets often reflect the trajectory of the war. Sometimes with delay, granted. I would not laugh this off. Things do not look good for Iran this round.

Iran’s armed forces say ‘will not allow the US to interfere’ in Hormuz​

The unified command of Iran’s armed forces has warned the US against trying to intervene in the Strait of Hormuz and threatened attacks against those who collaborate with Washington.

“We do not and will not allow the United States to interfere in the management of the Strait of Hormuz,” said Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, in comments carried by state broadcaster IRIB.

Iranian forces will “deal severely with any disruption and insecurity” outside Tehran’s designated route.

“Any cooperation with the United States and logistical support for that country’s aggressor army will be considered a war against Iran’s sovereignty and national security,” Zolfaghari said, adding the war could “engulf all the countries in the region”.
