Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

The situation this time around looks different. They haven't been able o emalute what they dif in March.

The survival / salvation of Iran lays in (1) taking on Israel and not completely relaying on the Arab states. (2) Invoking the chokepoint of Bab Almandab, SoH is they can

The minesweepers wont be entering SOH in these conditions they will be sitting ducks to missiles and drones.
Mine clearance operations are actually underway, mine sweepers don't operate on their own they have escort ships such as destroyers and command ships.

The US have also been conducting mine clearing operations:

You're not right.
They were travelling under the protection of US Navy (they lost a MH60S with a Commander inside) well before these attacks. And weeks before there were small attack just to remind that South corridor is designed to void the Iranians rights on the MOU.
The bigger question is, was Iran allowed to trade its Oil? were sanctions to be lifted? were frozen assets to be released? was peace not on the table? and then someone in Iran decided to damn it all away.

Allowing bases on their land and foreign troops makes them a legitimate target. If they attack Iran and their sovereignty - then they ought to expect to be smashed.
Simple
There is a very big 'if' the attacks originate from those bases; otherwise every country has a legitimate right to host bases of its allies. If Iran is attacked from one of these bases then Iran has a legitimate right to strike back at that base. However, Iran does not have a right to attack any US bases in the region which is hosted in a soverign country from which attack on Iran has not originated.

BREAKING: The US has gone MAD!

Trump is very afraid and has given the green light to commit WARCRIMES.

US attacks targeted 3 bridges in Iran, including:

• Bandar Khamir, an important overpass connecting Bandar Abbas to Lar. There were cars on the bridge during the attack, leaving at least 1 dead and several injured.

• Gariveh Bridge, at least 1 dead and several others injured.

• A railway station, west of Bandar Abbas, the point where the railway connects to the passenger and freight lines of Shahid Rajaei port and the Bandar Abbas railway was also bombed — 2 injuries so far.

• Heavy precision-guided missiles from fighter jets struck a telecommunications tower in Bandar Abbas, resulting in damage to several nearby residential buildings, killing and injuring civilians.

• US missiles struck a civilian airport in Iranshahr, in southeastern Iran.

I agree. Hitting civilian infraestructure It is a clear symbol of desperation. They have nothing more to hit so they change their strategy to israelí one of burnt land.

A ground invasion is definitely a possibility. It makes complete sense, and I was among those who believed the Americans will attempt an invasion.

Many people here are unaware that Iran's oil fields are actually quite concentrated. The sheer size of the country leads some to think that resources are distributed throughout Iran. In reality, Iranian oil fields are primarily located in the Khuzestan Basin, close to the Iraqi border. Even capturing just a portion of these fields would not only cover the expenses of the war for US and Israel but also transform it into a highly paying and profitable endeavor.
I don't think so. Even if US can defeat whatever troops they have until they arrive to oil fields there will be a much bigger problem. Whatever short range missile and drones will fall over them from well protected áreas inside the country.
And even if US can sustain this high damage It would be the end of Trump politically and he loves himself much more than his own country.

These demilitarized roaches from Europe have no militaries or other coercive capabilities.

What Germany can do with its military of 179.000 troops, 150 tanks, 100 Taurus missiles, couple of vessels and lack of power projection capabilities?

How Iran treats Germany? In 2011 Iran at first allowed Angela Merkels plane to pass over its airspace but then denied passage forcing her plane to make circles over Turkey.

This is how Iran treats Japan:

On June 13, 2019, Shinzo Abe met with Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Tehran. It was a historic trip—the first by a sitting Japanese prime minister to Iran in over 40 years

And the same day when Abe was talking with Khamenei, Iran hit Japanese oil tankers in the Gulf.

Iran treats Gulf Arabs in the same way - this is how Saudi Arabia will look like if Trump attacks Iran's electricity infrastructure.

Iran speaks equally only with the likes of US, China, Russia.

Regardless of what the GCC countries would look like, what is certain that Iran will be annihilated. And GCC will be able to rebuild very quickly, Iran will not be able to do so.

And thus I wonder why insanity in Iran prevails, and why they continue to overplay their hand which will be cut off very soon if this continues.

Is Iran NOT hitting civilian cargo ships in the strait of Hormuz????? What is the difference then?

European and German naval assets are steadily entering the picture in the Persian Gulf, with Germany's minesweeper Fulda and support ship Mosel already transiting toward the region alongside British, French, Italian, and Dutch contributions. these deployments signal a serious multinational effort to secure the Strait of Hormuz through mine clearing and freedom of navigation operations. If the US and its allies succeed in keeping the strait reliably open by force when necessary, Iran risks losing nearly all the strategic leverage it gained during the war. Tehran’s ability to threaten closure had been its strongest card, disrupting global energy flows and bolstering its negotiating position but a secured Hormuz would neutralize that threat, restore market driven oil exports under international oversight, and likely leave Iran economically weaker and more isolated than before the conflict began.

They all have sensed that major work is done already by the US. This time its going to be NATO + US. Its already started as NATO air refuelers are getting more active lately.

MoU is dead. This time, they are severely degrading Iran's abilities and will seek a new agreement where Iran would not be offered anything substantial. The last MoU was considered a victory for Iran. But even then some hardliner Iranians were not happy, now all hardliner Iranians should be very happy they got the resumed war what they wanted.
