Iran should keep the Strait of Hormuz closed and close the Strait of Bab-el-Mandeb to put pressure on US consumers to ensure that Republicans lose the Midterm elections on November 3.

This war will go down into history as US defeat and Iran's victory.

Your point was its no big deal if Iran attacks a USN Carrier... Like hey no biggie... Which is factually incorrect at best.

Given that this has not taken place and that a carrier has not hit, let alone sunk, I don't we can refer to anything as "factually".

The Iranians may well need to make a decision if they will cross the line you have suggested exists when USN amphibious assault ships attempt their invasion attempts on Iranian soil and the associated carrier groups support that. Do they try to stop the ships, risking mass casualty event on amphibious ships hosting thousands of marines, or do they leave them alone to invade Iran?

Additionally, On what basis can the USA make the case that the sinking of an aircraft carrier is sufficient just case for a nuclear strike that will kill hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Iranian?

History tells us a different story... But hey if we are dismissing historical precedent, might as well claim the moon is made of chocolate.

What is the historical precedent? It can't be Sept 11, 2001 as that was an unprovoked attack on USA soil. Here we are talking about combatants in active military operations that are conducting an illegal war of aggression against Iran. The two are not comparable.

In case no one posted this before. JD Vance is a contrast from Trump when it comes to Israel and the Middle East. Vance is bad news for Israel! We are one heart attack from wrapping up this war: Trump or Netanyahu? This has always been a 'personal war', as I have been saying for months, granted there are some Israeli and American interests involved but those interests don't amount to a dangerous regional war.

Technically you are right. But never underestimate the sense of isolation and entitlement the average American enjoys about the impunity with which the 'others' may get killed in wars launched as War of Choice. The media will go into an overdrive to spin any major American casualties during this war as 'the Iranian violated the ceasefire and then killed our boys'. People here are too sheltered, too isolated to think through the sequence of events.
But Iranians may well be aware of the consequences of major American casualties. They too, like me, are hoping for one heart attack, one 'Aortic' rupture like what happened to Lindsey Graham... Two warmongers for a billion people's peace of mind!
