Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

By the way. Seems that US is not bombing the industrial interior cities of the country.

That sounds weird to me, because we can conclude that in different cities of the country Irán is assembling new ballistic and cruise missiles and drones.

That recall me the political restrictions suffered also in Vietnam that ultimately took US to defeat.

What people think about that?.

This is basically what I was saying to you yesterday. What is the end goal here? Regime change and remove Iranian control of Hormuz. You can't control Hormuz without regime change.
You can control the Strait of Hormuz without regime change as well.

All you need to do is to force the regime to surrender by invading Khuzestan and Bushehr which holds 90% of our energy infrastructure and resources. You could even force the regime to surrender the Strait of Hormuz indefinitely as well as the Hormozgan Province in exchange for retaking Bushehr and Khuzestan. The possibilities are limitless contrary to what you think.

If you see Iran has lost both Khuzestan and Bushehr, and the US is willing to exchange them for renouncing Iran's right to the Strait of Hormuz, will you not accept it?

Did IRGC attack Trump's towers in UAE? If true, it remains to be seen if insurance would cover the impacts of those Iranian missiles! Perhaps that is why Trump went on rampage and attacked the civilian infrastructure in Iran last night.

Good analysis on a question asked frequently around here....why has the conflict resumed.

Any Iranian here deluding about accepting Israel, forgetting the Palestinian 'cause', etc etc is probably deluded: It is too late for that. There is no way Netanyahu going to stop from making Iran a vassal state, preferably with fragmentation like in Libya and Syria. Iran is here due to its own policies since 1979. One may give them credit for the only Muslim state which stood for the Palestinians (though Iran did/does have its own regional goals), but it is too late for any course correction unless and until Iran wards off the existential threat to its very nationhood.
Figure out the governance model after you have taken care of the external threat.

How would you hold Khuzestan and Bushehr? It's not Lichtenstein in size. You would need a lot of troops, a lot.

By establishing military bases there? They also have multiple bases around Iran which can be used as well. It's not like the US lacks enough military presence near Khuzestan and Bushehr.

How did the US stay in Deir Ez-Zur in Syria throughout the Syrian Civil War? Assad didn't even bother to kick the US out after they occupied Deir Ez-Zur and took control of Syria's oil fields.

As long as Iran has no air force to move troops, and relies on land routes only, the US threat is very serious. And it is already too late for building an air force.

USAF bombed bridges behind Normandy beaches to make sure the German reinforcements cannot make it to the front lines to fight the beach invasions. It will restrict ground movement of troops to engage potential US landings.
Exactly. Iran's forces cannot deploy everywhere. Logistics are being harmed to stop Iran's forces moving quickly from a to b to c when we finally cross that rubicon and see ground forces (either US or mixed) engaging the defenders at close quarters. It's always been about logistics. Both US and Iran are fully cognisant of this reality.

At the moment, one may assume that a wide range of logistics nodes are being bombed to keep Artesh guessing about where the planned incursions will be. Air superiority helps keep USA one step ahead of Iran in this domain.

That's the most ridiculous thing I have read in a while.

Ok - cool then ?

So, if Iran loses 5 trillion dollars,

Iran does not have 5 trillion dollars of infrastructure to lose, nor does the USA have the supplies for that even if Iran did.

loses its entire energy resources to the enemy

Iran is not losing its energy resources because Iran has established clearly the region will also lose its energy resources at the same time.

and turns into an inhabitable wasteland because it can no longer sustain life but sinks 2 tankers in the Strait of Hormuz which has limited effect on the global economy, Iran has won the war. OK! lol

The USA does not have the ability to do this, you are over inflating what the USA can afford to achieve. The USA does not have unlimited resources, or unlimited time for anything. The clock is ticking on the Americans.

I am not Iranian, so my judgement is not being clouded with anger and hate right now. It is clinical, and logical.

If you find my posting that ridiculous, please put me on ignore and you wont have to suffer my views anymore!

You have to assume that Iran has relocated a large portion of its military manufacturing infrastructure deep into its mountains that they are soo keen on. Drones are easier to manufacture, but the jury is out if Iran can currently manufacture its ballistic missiles under the current conditions. Iran has said, that they are manufacturing though.

Are you sure that Iran can't lose 5 trillion dollars? Because Iran's oil resources alone is worth 16 trillion dollars alone, if oil stays at $80 per barrel. That's besides Iran's vast natural gas reserves, helium reserves and other mineral resources including copper and lithium.

Iran is not losing its energy resources because Iran has established clearly the region will also lose its energy resources at the same time.
Yeah, no. Iran has not established such a thing.

The USA does not have the ability to do this, you are over inflating what the USA can afford to achieve. The USA does not have unlimited resources, or unlimited time for anything. The clock is ticking on the Americans.
And we should take your word granted about that?

I am not Iranian, so my judgement is not being clouded with anger and hate right now. It is clinical, and logical.
No, you are not Iranian. Your judgement is being clouded with ignorance instead of anger and hate. Just like your initial statement that Iran cannot lose 5 trillion dollars. And your definition of what constitutes a victory over the US is beyond ridiculous.

We need to give some allowance to the Iranian posters here. Even to the level-headed Persian Gulf Mod. Their country is being attacked and is literally facing an existential threat. Regardless of the mistakes the Iranian leadership made since 1979, they are at a point of no return: Either they survive as a nation-state with sovereignty (and hopefully course correction) or they become another vassal state with even more castastrophic wars to launched on them should they stray from the path.

Yep!

Love to all the Non PrickLovist Iranians.

It’s also nice to see the mods being considerate towards them.
