War and diplomacy go hand in hand. You gain leverage with various military , economic and diplomatic moves and then you use it to achieve goals in negotiations. This may take several rounds before a war finally concludes.

I think that's better than something like the Russia-Ukraine war which has turned into an endless meat-grinder. The only winner from conflicts like Russia-Ukraine are weapons makers.

Thats a very good point but with netanyahu calling the shots in DC, i dont think there ever will be peace in the ME as long as american people dont take their country back, no doubt they will use these negotiations as a coverup to restock and resupply and go for another round.

For me, leverage isn't taking oil to 85 dollars and then reducing pressure on the asset by making really basic statements about wanting to talk to the US. It's taking the Americans to the brink by applying as much pressure in this area as possible, and then releasing it only to gain maximum concessions through negotiations.

These micro spikes followed by rapid de-escalation by MFA are just odd. If you're not going to make the Americans pay in bodybags, at least make them pay as much as possible at the pump!

Ksa accepted trump blackmail to invest in USA and avoid the 20% fee for vessels sailing Hormuz.

So, can't they invest a 1% of that amount in Yemen houthi? And have good relations with his neighbor.

I don't know the subject matter they're to discuss... however, Turkiye had said that they'd enter the war should the Kurds attack Iran. Which is what Orange later alluded to in saying that both US and Turkiye backed off... and US opted not to push kurds in Iran. There are still proxies being scoured... the two most prominent ones being Kurds and Baloch... and here Pakistan and Iran may have something they can tackle simultaneously should Baloch be tasked to be the pawns for the empire.

Bahrain getting hit very hard today. Meanwhile Qatar and UAE which host US bases get off Scott free because they have paid money to Iran.

The real USA problem is not Israel, it's American Jewish bankers, true owners of corrupt USA politicians.

Stop dreaming, American people can never escape from that influence, even European people can't neither.
