Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Just like targetting civilian infrastructure by US is wrong and immoral, same is with Iran when it targets civilian ships passing through Oman's side of Hormuz.
US controlled the strait. US used the strait to assault Iran. Iran wrested control of the strait from the US. Iran attempted to give half of the strait it had captured to Oman. Oman immediately handed it back to the US. And then Iran recaptured total control.

There is no Omani side. Civilians who fail to follow transit rules are smugglers. And smugglers get shot.

OH FFS not again. This only means another JCPOA/MOU in two weeks. Traitor Trita is probably dancing uncontrollably now.

MFA have said they are looking to negotiate again with the US.

Every time pressure is put on them in this area, they are saved by a statement from Araqchi or Qalibaf.
War and diplomacy go hand in hand. You gain leverage with various military , economic and diplomatic moves and then you use it to achieve goals in negotiations. This may take several rounds before a war finally concludes.

I think that's better than something like the Russia-Ukraine war which has turned into an endless meat-grinder. The only winner from conflicts like Russia-Ukraine are weapons makers.

Thats a very good point but with netanyahu calling the shots in DC, i dont think there ever will be peace in the ME as long as american people dont take their country back, no doubt they will use these negotiations as a coverup to restock and resupply and go for another round.
