The thing I don't understand is why not sign a civilian reactor deal with China, their technology especially 3rd generation if I am right is one of the most if not the most advanced in the world.

Why sell yourself, that too for something a Saudi will not be let anywhere near let alone any technology gain.

For people who say Arab approach to Palestine would have worked and Iran is the culprit. Beneath the facade and hubris it was just acceptance of Greater Israel and relocation of Palestinians to Africa or other Arab countries.

It is to give US company big contract where US is a very important force in Middle East now.

If the deal is collapse, it is good for Saudi as it can seek China to build the nuclear power with much less tech restriction than US. And Iran will think many times to hit it if it is built and operated by Chinese company

If everything that has passed it cannot be more obvious that US/Israel is the most destabilising and destructive force in the middle east (countless wars) and this region will see no peace unless it is rooted out.

If no US presence in Saudi, I don't suppose Iran will have any intention of hitting any sensitive target let alone a nuclear reactor.

US big present and greater influent within Gulf states I believe started from Saddam invasion to Kuwait.

US present there are part of Saddam legacy. This guy (Saddam Husein) also the one that divide and bring hate between Sunni and Shiah and between Arab states and Iran.

World dynamics have changed significantly. If the Arabs had insight they would see through it. This path they are on only leads to their destruction and complete subservience to greater Zion.

Relying on US is not something good anymore because US economy and influent to NATO is now diminishing. They also cannot rely to themselves either to face bigger nation like Iran.

This is why Pakistan protection is seek by Saudi. For Pakistan, it could become silver lining for its economic problem. But the deal must be open to know what benefit Pakistan can actually get....It is the time for them to share the Wealth to Pakistan instead of investing to Western nations and India

I think as Iran leaves Syria now, then Saudi should also realize the Hootis present. I mean just accep geopolitical reality to make the region more peaceful.

Only the removal of US/Zion from within their countries can end wars in the region and the continuous cycle of further Zion entrenchment. Riding on Zion back to get back at other Muslim states does not make them masters but only creates an illusion of entitlement and chips away at whatever little sovereignty they have (They are just slaves from petrodollar to defense at this point).

They need to mentally recalibrate and accept reality starting with not trying to treat Yemen as an another Bahrain. But see what the region wants. Instead of the delusion high of destroying the only blocks of resistance such as Iran preventing complete dominance of Zion with them as illusionary hegemons but just viceroys.

The US/Zion has no problem with donkeys living in glass towers but the people in flipflops resistance irks them. They know they are just useful toothless tools in US/Zion empire sustaining it's economic dominance with petrodollar and military might by paying for its defense industries.

I think this war already shows that Gulf nations cannot rely on US any more.

This is already changing the previous mind set among their leaders.

I think the deal must be made, previous MOU deal is already good. Just let Hormuz open. It is the right moment for Iran to make a deal as US is about to make another parliamentary election. After the election Trump will be unpredictable since he will not go to election any more while he still has big power in US as executive. He will be nothing to lose, and it will be dangerous for Iran in that case

It's a race between how quick they can change their mindset and adapt. To me with the nuclear deal saga and instigating yemen they just seem adamant to double down on their follies. Falling in US/Zion trap, probably the endgame for middle east last remaining bits of sovereignty against Zion, after that the process of carving up these states will begin for greater Israel with the axis of resistance defeat.

I am sure Hormuz issue will be sorted once a new security architecture for the middle east and persia is drawn.

China stopped oil imports in month of June after Trump visited. Let’s not skew facts to fit an agenda.
China worships money and money is the biggest factor for China, they reduced their oil imports because oil was getting expensive, and they started digging into their strategic reserves, don't think it has anything to do with helping US bypass the hormuz blockade pressure.

He'll just tear up the agreement and bomb Iran again after the mid-terms. We've been here so many times before. Something has to change on the ground to prevent the US and Israel from attacking again, and it won't be a piece of paper.

Silly Saudis get their punishment

Many geopolitical analysts argue that U.S.–Iran conflict could be a strategic trap for Pakistan. They believe the recent Pakistan–Saudi Arabia defense framework was shaped in Washington to pull Pakistan away from neutrality and position it to support Saudi Arabia in any future confrontation with Iran.

In this view, Israel benefits regardless of the outcome, Muslim states are pushed into fighting each other, weakening themselves, while Israel continues receiving unwavering backing from the United States and support in key international forums such as the UN. Weaker Pakistan will be willing compromise on accepting Israel and even signing Abraham Accord.
