Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

"This supply loss would on its own would rank as the 2nd biggest oil supply disruption in history... only surpassed by a Hormuz closure.

1. Hormuz closure: ~14 mbpd
2. Houthi attack on Aramco: 5.7 mbpd
3. Iranian Revolution: ~5.6 mbpd
4. Arab oil embargo: ~4.5 mbpd

In other words, we have the biggest and 2nd biggest oil supply events hitting simultaneously...

At the same time, Ukraine is disrupting Black Sea supplies, and the Houthis are disrupting Bab el-Mandeb.

And again, oil is down hard on the day... you can't make this up."

Seems this unrest was self inflicted:

Why do this now when the country is still recovering from January riots? What is there to gain? Hanging teenagers and young men isn’t gonna get people to support the government regardless of their crimes or if they were Mossad influenced rioters.

Just zero brain thinking. Could have kept them in prison until this war was resolved first.

I sometimes wonder are some Iranian leaders compromised and working with foreign intelligence with the own goal moves they do.

Death penalty is a deterrence for avoid others from do the same. Especially when it's done publicly, to be seen by everyone.

Burn mosques and kill officers under foreign orders is not a youth game.

I doubt it would decrease support to government, the people who dislike, wouldnt support government anyway.

The question is how are foreign intelligence agencies finding it so easy to recruit Iranian youth? That needs to be addressed first. Establishing deterrence alone may not be enough.

I agree, youth must have opportunities when they choose the right path.

Man thousands of AL-Gurdish from the KRG were caught inside Iran and hundreds of Afghani arrested after the riots.....remember that? How many Afghani got deported from Iran right after the riots? And many Shahi's also were arrested when they secretly came in from Dubai on boats via smugglers. There were constant posts here of all these people who were arrested or deported.

Not to downplay the extent of continued domestic infiltration in Iran, but it's incredible how the Israelis and Americans have done nothing approaching the scale of what they did last year during the 12 day war. Even their use of terror cells and psychotic Pahlavists during the riots earlier in the year was amateurish.
