Attacking Israel tonight I’m guessing as well if it starts off tonight I’m thinking Katz did this purposely about American jets flying out of Israel

Seriously, right ‽
What do you think is happening...
Just elaborate.
Why is SoH even an issue... take it away!
US had a status quo ... as a belligerent... it is US trying to return the same... Oman is a factor AFTER THE FACT!

I can't entertain your pseudo-wisdom again, plucking ridiculously unfounded claims out of thin air. We've talked about this a few pages ago. US attacked -> Iran shut down the Strait to exert economic pressure -> Iran realized there's a pretty penny to be made -> Iran wants to keep making it -> US wants to keep it free. This has nothing to do with Iranian security concerns; 1) The US does not need the Strait to attack Iran, 2) the US military vessels will not be stopped by an agreement if it did need to, 3) Iran does not need an agreement to attack enemy military vessels if it needed to, 4) Iran would not be saved from any retaliation by any agreement if it did attack enemy vessels, 4) Iran's primary concern is the money it can make from commercial shipping. Pretending that there is some Khwarazmian Calculus behind this to whitewash an unlawful and shortsighted measure by Iran is laughable.

All of this still does not matter as Omani waters belong to Oman.

IT IS US MIGHT THAT IS CHALLENGING IRAN... NOT OMAN... GET THAT OVER YOUR HEAD FIRST.

There, there. Your last hissy fit didn't serve you well either.

So Iran is not using its might to force its diktat on Omani sovereign waters? That's a pretty dense statement when in the same post you talk about Iran dictating to Oman.

YOUR BIAS takes better of you in veering your discourse. Which prompts Oman as a protagonist. It is not ... at best it is a proxy... on who's behalf... anybody's guess.

My bias? Sure, bud. Any other fallacies you'd like to desperately clutch?

Proxy, antagonist, prop, Oman decides what it is and what happens with its waters, however it sees fit and at the behest of whoever it sees fit. Laughable level of self-awareness to cheer for Iranian proxies in Iraq and Yemen while wailing about another sovereign country deciding for itself.

So yes... either it is the US might that will dictate terms or Iran will persevere in creating a new niche.

That was one undignified dance around calling out Iran for what it's doing. "Persevere in creating a new niche".

Bosphorus only serves as one where third party warships have controlled access ... in case of Iran I say no access. Remember Turkiye doesn't face an existential threat that seeks to get inside Black sea.

You say? Well, I'll call the UN right now.

You can't remain honest to your own arguments. "I'll only take this part and not that one please". Biases, eh?

Oman is an after thought!

It will serve as dictated... either by US or Iran.

Yeah because you said it.

Iran by the fact that it keeps it's nemesis at a distance serves it well.
The rest is needless distraction.

Iran has no capability to keep its nemesis at a distance. Iran could move to Central Asia and the US will still get there. What fantasy world are you living in? Still not what Iran is trying to achieve here.

Needs confirmation, but big escalation from Saudi Arabia

Seems to be confirmed and the number appears to be at least 5

I can't entertain your pseudo-wisdom again, plucking ridiculously unfounded claims out of thin air. We've talked about this a few pages ago. US attacked -> Iran shut down the Strait to exert economic pressure -> Iran realized there's a pretty penny to be made -> Iran wants to keep making it -> US wants to keep it free. This has nothing to do with Iranian security concerns; 1) The US does not need the Strait to attack Iran,
Iran this, Iran that and Iran the other thing... You answered already.

US attacked... why doesn’t the US just walk away?
What changed the aim of that invasion to opening of the straits?
US can of course attack Iran from other places... and you gave orange just nother reason to quit the straits and attack from other locations.

2) the US military vessels will not be stopped by an agreement if it did need to,
Then have the fifth fleet return or shut up!!!

3) Iran does not need an agreement to attack enemy military vessels if it needed to,
Iran doesn't but the rest need to know that these will not be allowed through, kapish‽

4) Iran would not be saved from any retaliation by any agreement if it did attack enemy vessels,
Then let Iran suffer the consequences... since you don't care ... why bother?

4) Iran's primary concern is the money it can make from commercial shipping. Pretending that there is some Khwarazmian Calculus behind this to whitewash an unlawful and shortsighted measure by Iran is laughable.
Iran is sanctioned by the US and what you're talking about are the future prospects of the straits... let's return back to reality... if there is no state there are no dividends!

All of this still does not matter as Omani waters belong to Oman.
Let Oman get it and have US back off ... instead of having commercial shipping transit Omani waters with AIS turned off... to smuggle them through... while targeting Iranian vessels.

There, there. Your last hissy fit didn't serve you well either.
Let me be the judge of that...

So Iran is not using its might to force its diktat on Omani sovereign waters? That's a pretty dense statement when in the same post you talk about Iran dictating to Oman.
Let Oman talk for itself... I think we know Iranian position.

My bias? Sure, bud. Any other fallacies you'd like to desperately clutch?
For instance?

Proxy, antagonist, prop, Oman decides what it is and what happens with its waters, however it sees fit and at the behest of whoever it sees fit. Laughable level of self-awareness to cheer for Iranian proxies in Iraq and Yemen while wailing about another sovereign country deciding for itself.
American proxies in Iran, Iraq... Syria, Yemen are just fine... what are you on about...

That was one undignified dance around calling out Iran for what it's doing. "Persevere in creating a new niche".
Or return to status quo ante!!!

You say? I'll call the UN right now.

Can't even remain honest to your own arguments. "I'll only take this part and not that one please". Biases, eh?
Where is UN on the rest of it... UNCLOS at least makes them territorial waters... but not a proxy for US to claw back via Oman.

Iran has no capability to keep its nemesis at a distance. Iran could move to Central Asia and the US will still get there. What fantasy world are you living in? Still not what Iran is trying to achieve here.

Let it be! Let US do it!!!

This guy is an Israeli but I have found his takes on the war to be interesting.

Yeah things will escalate sadly. And if reformists are actually talking about limiting missiles and range, they need to be killed by IRGC immediately. If that is possible. Not even arresting and courts, just immediate execution. Without those missiles Iran was Gaza. End of. Public safisfaction of a country keeps a country alive and together. Missiles defend. Or allow Iran to have 100 batteries of S400 and 500 SU-35 lol. Either that or missiles and drones up the wazoo.
