In the early days of the Ramadan War, a number of Azerbaijani separatists located in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Region used the opportunity to wage war against Iran and launched a number of drones into Azerbaijani territory. As a result of this action, Azerbaijani media, which is heavily influenced by the Zionist movement, quickly pointed the finger of accusation at Iran and claimed that Iran had attacked Azerbaijani territory. A number of journalists also took advantage of the political atmosphere and attacked the Iranian ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan. The President of Azerbaijan, influenced by Zionist propaganda within Azerbaijan, began to curse Iranians with undiplomatic language and promised that the Azerbaijani army would respond to Iran with an iron fist. Of course, it was later revealed in the images published by Azerbaijani media that the writings on the remains of the downed drones showed that these drones were Azerbaijani and made in Azerbaijan. This issue firstly showed that Israel is in close contact with the Nakhchivan separatists and at the same time as claiming to help Azerbaijan against Armenia, it is creating a zone of influence separate from Azerbaijan and in the northern region of Iran. Of course, we hope that this time Ilham Aliyev will not deal with sensitive issues emotionally and will request field investigations before threatening Iran and, in coordination with Iran, will uncover the roots of the Nakhchivan separatists.
