I don't know why folks are so fixated on gas prices, or inflation etc. High prices or so called cost of living isn't going to establish a detterent. These animals only respect the language of might. Until and unless Iran starts making them pay the price in BLOOD, they won't back off.

Iran prepared for the USA, it just has severe limits on what it can achieve with its capabilities against such a powerful enemy

It prepared for absorption of strikes, military contingency plans, but not politically for such a war. This is why the leadership is divided on strategy or unsure where to dedicate resources or what target selection to make. They didn't prepare , imo, in that sense. If they did they'd know how to respond to developments of Gaza and Lebanon and earlier but it was more reactionary and not a place they wanted to go. The strategy in place was strategic patience which was serving them well for a long time. And probably even longer if Gaza-Israel 2023 never happened.

We sitting comfortably can say that but ideally for our people in Pakistan , Iran , Saudi Arabia and GCC, it is not worth it to see wider bloodshed for our people just to be entertained by Iran on a Saturday evening ....

Trump family is doing this for personal gains and attempt to divert attention from his bad policies at home. It's smarter for Iran to ride out and and work with Pakistan, Turkey , Saudi GCC leadership to keep this under control until we can ride out storm. They will help Iran get needs of their population under the table.
