Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Let this sink in. Israeli media is brainstorming on how to get the US to start a land war with Iran despite massive problems, including a shortage of soldiers (up to 1.5 million soldiers would be needed!).

The solution?

Well, according to the Jerusalem Post, the US should offer to erase student loans and credit-card balances for the young Americans willing to join the slaughter.

The cost would, of course, be MASSIVE. And it would be paid for by ordinary American taxpayers. All because Israel wants more war…

BIG: Iran appears more confident after six months of war with the U.S., according to recent U.S. intelligence assessments.

Tehran believes it has learned the limits of American military power, retained enough missiles and drones to keep fighting, and gained leverage by disrupting the Strait of Hormuz.

The broader assessment is that Iran sees little reason to negotiate now.

Instead, it may try to prolong the conflict through the U.S. midterm elections, betting that high energy prices, casualties and an unpopular war will weaken President Trump politically.

Propaganda.

I remember reading during the Gaza war NYT or WSJ article how Hamas fighters were returning to areas cleared by Israel and how Israel couldn’t defeat Hamas and how the ground war was so disastrous.

And tell me, what is state of Hamas today? How many Western media predicted Bashar Al Assad’s collapse leading up to the event?

My point is, don’t believe Western doom and gloom propaganda just like you shouldn’t believe the “everything is awesome” propaganda by Trump admin.

Iran could collapse in a few months and no one in Western media would have seen it coming. They aren’t a reliable indicator.

Change the US with Iran, its still true.

Let's see who blinks first.

What’s Iran’s leverage to get the U.S. to back off? Strait of Hormuz

Yet there is no military planner on Earth that would recommend to a leader of iran to allow the SoH to be leaky and stretch and weaken that leverage for 6 months and damage the fabric of society and the economic engines.

So one has to conclude, Iran can’t actually close the SoH. It can harass it, but it cannot close it. That is a chilling revelation. Because the SoH at its narrowest point is less than 25 miles across. And Iran has multiple islands in that zone and has a massive coastline overlooking that zone with high mountains providing altitude. In other words, it should be like shooting fish in a barrel.

If Iran cannot reliably shut down such a narrow band of water that is sticking right next to its borders then that’s a massive sign of weakness. I don’t care how strong the U.S. military is. Any country should be able to close a 20 mile zone next to its borders. It’s the basic litmus test of sovereignty.

The current war has the Western world against Iran (minus some moral support from Spain). The Arabs hate Iran. Parts of Iraq hate Iran. Many in India hate Iran. The Japanese and Koreans don’t support Iran.

This isn’t a world Iran can survive in its current state. Assad is gone. The Houthi’s are controlling the poorest country in Middle East. Hezbollah is retreating. Gaza is in ruins. Putin is tied up in Ukraine. Xi has no interest in siding with Iranians over its lucrative contracts with Arabs. Iraq is cracking down on Iraqi militias that were once untouchable.

The stage is set for the collapse of the Axis of Resistance. The Anti U.S. Anti Israel Anti West message of 1980s was in a world that had a revolutionary China, Saddam in Iraq, Ghaddafi in Libya, the Soviet Union, Castro in Cuba, Chavez in Venezuela. It’s an outdated and irrelevant message in 2026. The world has changed and it’s much more unipolar than at anytime in history. Russia and China are not bulwarks against this unipolarity, they are merely trying to survive in it without turning into the next Iran — cornered and under siege.

The only chance Iran had in this war was to drag the world into a global depression that would crush countries by setting all the energy installations on fire even if it meant losing its own and even if it meant a nuclear strike or a land war. Iran was a country that was broken down by the West much like Germany post WWI. It was a country turning more and more into poverty. It was a country already in a depression. Thus it had nothing to lose while the entire world did.

Instead Iran chose to die cornered and under siege just like Assad, Saddam, and Ghaddafi. This is symptom of a country that is run by oligarchs and elites who care more about survival of their fortunes than winning any power games. This isn’t a country that is going to come out of this on top.

Are you being serious here? Do you truly believe we're in a better position now to dictate terms? We don't even have full control of the Straits! And to top it off we're on the verge of economic collapse. Please enlighten me.

All Iran war has not affected in anything to USA ruling elite who decided this war.

It only created inflation that it could affect poorest American people, USA rulers dont give a fck about pay double or the half for a full fuel deposit.

By the other side, Iran Supreme Killed was killed, maximum ruler in Iran.

In USA we even dont know who the hell is the equivalent to his supreme leader, but I can't believe it could be the orange clown or any other gentile jester.

You present the ambitions of Americans under the guise of so-called concerns or threats against Iran. How is it possible that Iranians—who experienced eight years of war against a power next door that was financially supported by all the Arabs and armed by the Soviet Union, China, and Egypt—could collapse within a few months? We are the same people who stood against Saddam with bare hands. The number of modern fighter jets that Saddam received as gifts exceeded 400 units. Missiles delivered from the Soviet Union and China, both offensive and defensive, rained down on Iranian cities. No country bought oil from Iran, and its only supporters were Syria and North Korea.

The probability that America's economic dominance over global arteries and international interactions will vanish is far greater. Even America's closest allies, like Canada, look at the United States today as a festering sore and see the solution in breaking free from it.

How could a country like Iran, with the experience of an eight-year war fought with bare hands against a nation supported simultaneously by both the West and the East, collapse overnight? China was the largest arms supplier to Saddam, and all the Arabs provided him with financial backing. During the war, Iran sometimes lacked even the necessary ammunition for G3 rifles, let alone possessing long-range weapons.

The likelihood of the collapse of an economic system built on the dollar is much higher. This does not mean the economic collapse of the United States, as that is impossible, but rather the loss of the United States' total hegemony over the economic interactions of other nations. All of America's allies are currently dissatisfied with its unilateral actions. Even Canada, influenced by these threats, has decided to change its perspective. You always frame American desires as criticisms. This is exactly why you are a machine for American propaganda.

Read above.

P.S. Persian Gulf is important because of its functionality not because of its closure. We just proved that its under our control and USA is responsible for its short time closure.

Persian Gulf will be open only under Iranian terms. And it won't remain closed forever.
