I agree I know that that’s why I said them saying they intercepted was hilarious again may have been a mistranslation on the part of Al Jazeera but the article was there in more detail than Middle East eye but they took it down so me bringing it up was totally valid at the time I can still make the argument because Middle East eye is reporting it but looks like Al Jazeera mostly likely mistranslated their Arabic version but I stand by what I said if it actually did come out of Syria and wasn’t a mistranslation

There is no naval version of Fattah. It’s also unknown if F-1 and F-2 are even in service and are considered to be R&D programs.

The only ABM missiles Iran has that have a chance at working are ones with a thermal or anti radiation seeker and those need to go slower upon descent/re-entry because if a plasma sheath happens it will block the sensor and maybe even destroy it. So they cannot be hypersonic. Thus making them more vulnerable to interception.
