Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

what country has a better military industry spending than iran? north korea? but nk has a crappy non-military economy.

Iran’s missile program stagnated after Tehrani Moghdam was killed in 2010 (the accident is a cover story).

The Khorrmashahr was a pre-2010 project.

The Keibar Shekan and Fattah-1 are simply specialized glide vehicles slapped on a solid fuel missile.

Despite Shahrud Team working over a decade on larger and more powerful Iranian engines (we can see from the test stand burn scorches via satellite photos) there has not been a major Iranian missile family built since Tehrani died.

So what was that 25B per year going too? Not new cruise missiles. Not new highly capable drones. Not new ballistic missiles. Not new air defenses because the network collapsed the first week. Not new radars.

The only speculation I have is that large parts of Iranian military spending was going to buying and transferring weapons to Hezbollah, Yemen, and propping up Syria all those years and yes corruption and capital inefficiency. The rest was maintaining the military and buying items needed for the existing missile program.

I remember one time the Iranian defense industry showed off no less than 4 different MRAPs designs from various vendors and multiple different humvees. And in the end they went and bought Humvees from Russia and gave Iranian MRAPs to Iraqi militias.

So id take this news as fake until proven otherwise. Seems to me Iran ended up not attacking any tankers tonite (maybe the PGCC Arabs called and offered another plane full of gold/cash)?

IMPOSSIBLE. PGCC arabs CANNOT offer Iran any gold / cash even if they wanted which they don't. US will not approve such a transaction, its obvious.

As it will be directly opposite and counter the whole United States approach of economic pressure. They are doing full throttle economic strangulation of Iran. Even announcing sanctions on any country trying to do business with Iran.

All those social media gossip of any gold/cash offering is laughable. No such thing can happen. Trump even publicly called out Oman to bomb the shit out of it if it tries to collude with Iran and within same instance Oman rejected Iran's proposals for collecting tolls jointly.

Very well, Iran could do better, but who does better than Iran? You haven't answered.

Just check it out Venezuela. All their military spending was useful for nothing. Thousands millions of dollars straight thrown to trash.

Venezuela's fate will be GCC's fate if someday USA do same plans for them.

Russia and USA sealed Venezuela destiny in Alaska summit, week before USA starting Venezuela siege.

Expensive high tech military hardware is easily hacked by the manufacturer. I remember January 2015 when a Greek F16 crashed down same day, hour and minute than communist Alexis Tsipras was sworn as Greek Primer Minister.

While selecting targets if Houthis attack the airbases that these planes are attacking from then it is a defensive response which cannot trigger a defense agreement. That is prioritising targets where attacks are originating from.

When they are attacked by saudi they need to prioritise the military ones and airbases where the saudi attacks are originating from. Ammo depots , supply channels-bridges or saudi proxy groups bases inside saudi arabia are other valid targets that directly supports saudi attack in current Yemen conflict. Oil also supports the war and for example Ukraine strikes Russian rafineries for the same purpose but this should be a later target if the war escalates further which can trigger defense agreements if used now.

Economic targets like aramco should be spared as deterrence for later options like if other countries intervene after Houthi defensive-strikes against saudi military targets.
