Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

we in Pak are going to have another spike in petrol price tonight.. damn on trump and natanyahu...10-15% increase in 3 days.
The other thing to remember about prices at the pump in ALL COUNTRIES is that retailers never significantly "dropped" their prices despite some fluctuations in market prices over the last 8 months.

Even when Trump/China/Iran's actions/statements caused commodity prices to "drop", the retailers on the forecourts were hesitant to pass that drop on. The best we saw was a stabilisation, maybe a penny or two down, but as soon as there is a rise in costs at source, that rise is immediately passed on.

The ordinary citizen will lose all over the world (unless you own a petrol station!).

What makes you think I have a WSJ subscription? Lol
I have access but cannot post it, instead I will summarise the key points from the article:

- Iran has resumed production of BMs using stockpiled components and working in underground facilities.
- Iran has been assembling liquid fuel and solid fuel missiles.
- Activity at several underground sites includes Khojr and new underground assembly points.
- Iran resumed low-rate production of BMs since mid-June and could assemble at least 200 missiles or up to thousands of missiles from existing inventory of components.
- Israel estimates Iran still has thousands of BMs in its arsenal.
- Iran is rebuilding everything (roads, bridges) at a "worrying" pace and weapons stored at underground missile bases are likely to be "well-preserved".
- Challenges to returning to full-scale missile manufacturing include damage to chemical facilities needed to make liquid propellants and industrial mixers for producing solid fuel.
- Iran's missile program has "quicker regenerative capacity than the nuclear program, and it's pretty dispersed" and Iran intentionally built its missile program to be resilient.

Houthi advancement could mean disaster for our economy!

but importantly, with this pace, one has to question though, how long before they fancy the charge for KSA provinces!

and that could be a trap.

It could all be over within 24 hours if the house of sauds were not taking orders from their masters sitting in tel aviv.

Not much of a secret when Iran posted the video of one of those underground facilities themselves and I have been saying this forever without any proof other than Iraqis Houthi gazans Hezbollah and Syria at one time was also doing it

Does anyone disagree with me on this Issue?

Iran should signal that if the US compensates for war damages, it will refrain from imposing a toll on the Strait of Hormuz.

However, if Iran genuinely intends to collect a toll on Hormuz regardless, I would advise against that approach, as it risks costing Iran its international support and could ultimately lead to its defeat by the US.

Here's why:

If Iran limits its demand to war reparations alone, other countries will have a clear incentive to pressure Trump into accepting the demand or negotiating a compromise. A narrowly framed, damage-based claim is something the international community can rally behind and push for diplomatically.

But if Iran instead reveals that its real intention is to collect a toll from Hormuz, it changes the nature of the dispute entirely. Other countries would no longer be able to pressure Trump on Iran's behalf, since Iran would no longer be seen as simply seeking redress, it would be seen as leveraging a strategic chokepoint for economic gain. In that scenario, the rest of the world would have little choice but to absorb the economic fallout of the standoff, however long it lasts.
And should this escalate into a prolonged confrontation with the global economy itself, the odds increasingly favour Iran's defeat rather than its success.
