Other than planned / announced time away from the forum, can you point to an instance where I went missing?

Drones are being fired at these tankers but are taken down by anti drone systems deployed on this specific fleet of tankers. New tactics are needed.

It’s going to be tough because even though the strait is less 75 KM across from tip of Oman to Iranian coastline (or whatever the exact number is), a cruise missile is sub sonic and a drone is even slower than the cruise missile. So US helicopters and fighter jets get plenty of advanced warning from SIGNIT planes and can shoot them down. They can also refuel in mid air and not need to land (the tankers we see flying all night).

So either Iran has to use MALE UAVs that can fire missiles at stand off distances like Mohajer-6 or Shahed-129. Or use fighter jets to launch small glide bombs. Idk if even jet powered drones will be enough unless Iran is firing 10-20+ each time.

A month ago the number was alleged to have been about 7MBPD. So if 14MBPD is true than that means oil flow out of hormuz has doubled. Part of that is due to Saudi Arabia now pushing more crude out of the Strait instead of Red Sea. ironically Houthi’s are doing a better job than the Iranians.
