Trump will likely launch an immediate attack on Iran if his party loses badly in the midterm election.

- He wants to become a war-time president. As to attack a country of the size of Iran, the length of war campaign will definitely outlast the end of his presidential term in Jan 2029, so he can avoid the impeachment even if the democrats control both house and senate.

- Even the democrats manage to win the congress, the republicans can still control the congress up to Jan 3rd of next year.

Now it is better for Iran to hoard more missiles and drones for the upcoming onslaught in the coming November.

Unfortunately those aircraft carriers are almost unsinkable, they are made out of hundreds of metal compartments so that if they are hit they lock up the damaged areas and stay afloat. But it would be good to take out the deck of one of them along with a couple dozen jet fighters on board.

Unless you can use those hyper explosive warheads with the combination of the velocity of the hypersonic missiles.

Good post and at the time(early April) I did not understand why Iran stopped the war when Zio-US were out of interceptors.

This was a strategic mistake by Iran and has led both USA and Israel to confirm that they are in control of the agenda and timelines for this war. Has Iran learnt that this was a mistake or not, and will they course correct on this ? Questions of course.

If the alternative is to be a puppet government of the US and Israel, you must be well aware that they will never allow you to become a potential future threat.
There will be no democratic government that no longer thinks of the Palestinians but only of yourselves; there will be a wasteland to be divided up and shared out.

We are not capable of crippling their logistics. That requires a large number of precise strikes from 1500km away. All the IRGC generals who claimed Israeli jets would not have airbases to land on when they return from bombing Iran need to be put in jail, if they are not already dead.

We can hit large targets like refineries, but we are more vulnerable than them in that department given no one will come to rescue us like the US will rescue Israel.

If you remember, I always said that the idea of destroying a military air base is delusional. I never believed that was possible.

But I believe it is possible to destroy the Israeli infrastructure for producing fuel, particularly jet fuel. It is possible, but the cost of it will be too high for Iran.

The problem is that as long as Iran is not a nuclear state, the control of the escalation ladder will be 100% with Israel. They will dictate Iran what to do in the war. Had Iran been a nuclear state, Israel wouldn't have been in complete control of the situation.
