Anyway, Iran has been secular for a long, long time. And had built up a strong intellectual core.

So, even the Ayatollahs could not dismantle the secular higher education system.

Hopefully, Iranians can meat out a fatal blow to the Judeo Christians.

Then overthrow the ayatollahs.

And eventually find the middle ground between the atheist anti Muslims Pahlavists and the mullahs.

Which is ofcourse secularism - where you are free to practice your religion as you see fit.

This was the case in the west until the far right started their bigotry in the name of “freedom”!

Wrong !!! Your judgment of Mullahs of Iran is clouded by the Mullahs closer to home.
Mullah’s of Iran have many weaknesses but the emphasis on education isn’t one of them.

The Mullahs are generational literates & academics & they have placed great emphasis on knowledge. Iran’s literacy & scientific output has seen a remarkable progress under the Mullahs.

Iran’s political system is a very complex one & power is balanced out by multiple power centres.

The fight against western imperialism isn’t a straightforward affair & neither is it a short struggle. It’s not even marked by clear military lines. Defeating it morally in historical terms is the ultimate goal here. The narrative a century or two later is equally as important if not more. Else it will be just another temporary setback, which the Jews can wipe away in a couple of decades & come back with renewed energy. Overthrowing the Ayatollahs in the short to medium term is ensuring a century long destruction of Iran as a state.

Practice of religion in Iran has never been an issue. Iran is a civilisational state, being tolerant towards different cultures, faiths & ethnicities is a normal practice.

Patience, persistence, Faith & endurance is what Iran needs until the US eventually tires out & adjusts to the new Geo political reality of the world.

Care to name a secular state that has taken on & brought to a standstill the reigning hegemon ?

Man if the Houthis were serious about shutting all of Saudi energy infrastructure down they could do it with ease and people keep saying Saudi Arabia air defenses are impenetrable shield…..visual proof that it’s not nothing against Saudi Arabia as a whole but MBS and these thousands of princes and princesses deserve black eyes

Concept of secularism is fairly new. So, not enough timeframe ..

But the atheist mongols did bring down a regional hegamon.

By the 1900s, Britain was a fairly secular state. And brought down the Ottomans.

Holy Roman Empire was brought down by secular Dutch and Germans.

Agree I think the Houthis would see shutting much of Saudi Arabia energy infrastructure as their "nuclear” option even if large parts were only shutdown for a few weeks it would start a large domino effect of epic proportion(seriously world needs to go green just my 2 cents on that)

I have noticed this for almost 2 decades now. My countrymen were & are guilty of similar irrational outbursts. I remember Pakistani forumers writing similar doomsday posts about America & NATO carrying out raids on Pakistani nuclear sites & stealing all the nuclear devices.
Those boys had the JSOC in helis for their mission & Pakistan ceasing to exist as a State every weekend.

For those who thought a Pakistani attack on Iran is impossible due to Pakistani public sentiment or a Turkish one for other unknown reasons despite their global connections - Pakistan and Turkey now appear to be openly allied with Saud and Israel against the Yemenis who directly defended the Palestinians. This is a Pakistan whose entire identity and raison d'etat is "Ummah" and "Islam."

At the end of the day these states are satellites and will be used and spent by the empire as needed. Both will openly act against Iran the moment Iran's strength drops below the requisite threshold.

If that were the case, why would Pakistan go all out in support of Iran last year when Iran was actually at its most vulnerable ? Why would Pakistan pre-emptively bomb the Baloch insurgents in Afghanistan a day before the attack on Iran this year ? Why would Turkey veto any ground attack by the Kurdish separatists on Iran in conjunction with the US & Israeli attacks this year ?

Why Oil hasn’t spiked to $150 is entirety down to Trump exhausting the SPR of not just USA but also of allies.

Whilst this puts most of the short term pressure on Iran - it leaves US and its allies with fewer options beyond December.

So, if Iran can survive upto January - Iran will have the upper hand.

By then SPR will have been exhausted and interest rates will start biting hard.

Oh bhai this Irani war was over in the first few weeks only, actually it was largely over last year during the 12 day skirmish. Iran clobbered Israel with massive missile/ drone barrages and basically established dominance.

These guys sitting on the beltway found out there is no way in hell they can win against Iran last year in June. Since then its just all political theater.

These Irani's sitting pretty cuz they're holding the entire GCC hostage from both sides/ taking a big cut on whatever going in/ coming out of the SOH and the US has largely abandoned the region.
