Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

A common fallacy. Defensive equipment MUST be deployed in civilian areas, whether you are Iran, KSA, Israel, Ukraine, Pakistan, India because one needs to protect civilians as best as one can.

You will recall that India sent drones into Lahore and Rawalpindi last year. We need to deploy with intent to shoot them down because such uncivilised enemies do not care about hitting civilians.

I would argue for a case of "human shielding" only in a scenario where an offensive weapon or a bomb factory is hidden amidst civilians, a common taliban tactic.

To protect civilians you don’t have to put such defensive equipment in heavily populated areas.

When you do you risk accidents and invite legitimate enemy fire.

If your country is at perpetual wars - better to build underground shelters to protect them.

Trump is actively trying to put in peoples mind that the main and only goal of his war was to destroy the navy and airforce which were a huge threat to the world according to him
OR is trump actively trying to to put in people's minds that the main goal of his war is to destroy a potential Iranian nuclear weapon, meanwhile his real goal is to support Zionist hegemony over (and expansion in) the middle east.

This is the problem with Iran's strategy, and why it is completely alienated at the world stage.

Iran does not want to play with the international rules based world order developed by the US/West, which is why it is sanctioned and not part of the international banking system.

Iran is blessed with natural resources, but has to adopt different ways to get over this impediment. Hence, it is highly dependent on China; which is part of the international rules based world order, and who's economy is intrinsically tied to the US.

Iran cannot afford to lose China's partnership, but China can lose Iran as a trading partner.

Now coming to Pakistan, Pakistan has historically very close ties to Saudi Arabia. Iran is a neighbor, and Pakistan will make sure it does not antagonize Iran in the current war. Pakistan has been very transparent that the security of the KSA is very important to it, while also supporting peace and normalization of the Iranian economy/state.

About the Houthis, yes, they have a right to do whatever they want against the KSA-backed PLF, or KSA. Pakistan has said it is simply providing defensive support to the KSA, nothing more, nothing less. It is not directly involved in operations inside Yemen.

Iran activated the Houthi card to take over the Bab-al-Mandab, to relieve pressure from the SoH, as well as to pressurize the KSA and the European nations that get their supplies from there.

I do think Iran will be going too far if it involves itself directly in the KSA by launching missile strikes into the KSA. Because as far as I know, the US bases in the KSA are not being used to strike Iran right now. Iran will provide support to the Houthis, but it is a non-state actor which eventually has a limited force (in comparison to various countries).

In short, I think Iran has opened too many fronts, and it is very isolated on the world stage; because it likes to believe it sees things as "black and white" (full sovereignty), but thinks Pakistan does not. That's a very incorrect way to look at things; the reality is, Iran does not know how to manage world relations; whereas Pakistan does.

There’s no such thing as the “international rules based order”.

That’s a fantasy.

There’s the Judeo Christian world order. Underpinned by the Dollar and it’s financial transaction system called SWIFT.

However, there’s three problems with this:

1. You have to store your reserves in US treasuries. Thus you become US’ lender whether you like it or not.

2. To be a participant you have to be neutral or be an active participant in the genocide of Palestinians.

3. If you aren’t a participant then the Judeo Christians will wage ruthless economic and military wars against you. E.g. Cuba, Venezuela and now Iran.

He will keep barking no doubt.

But few will act on it.

His power of patronage will disappear.

And with that his power to intimidate people will also go.

He will have to put up with so much shit when he’s out of power - he will wish he dies early.

He hates being booed and made fun of - there will be an army of online trolls trolling him.

That will be what makes him even more likely to set off which it most likely will

Iran never had the chance to even be "neutral" and comprehensively develop itself as Zio-US could never allow that to happen.

Even an indiustralised Iran with no nuclear or even long range ballistic missiles was a threat.

This is all about making the ME unstable and chaotic and with either puppet regimes or impoverished ones with no real military power left.

So many utterly naive posterss here who think Iran had "another way". No it would have been balkanised decades ago if it tried to "make friends" with Zio-US.

One big mistake that Iran made was not to develop true IRBMs(hit Europe and Diego Garcia) and also nuclear weapons.

Disagree with this overly idealised interpretation. No military can totally extricate itself from the economic and (more broadly) civilian areas it is tasked with defending. This does not constitute "human shielding", particularly when certain enemies will themselves intentionally target civilians and economic installations.

Barracks may well be (and are) located inside cities also, to defend those cities and also to react rapidly to counter other threats (civil disorder, natural disasters etc). Are those barracks commanders suddenly guilty of "human shielding"?

Should Iran or Pakistan or anybody not counter the threat even when it is right on top of a city centre?

I disagree. A Zionist Iran would have been of far more value to US/Israel than a balkanized one. Just imagine the amount of power projection an unsanctioned Iran with access to western tech could do for US and Israeli interest.

Trump hasn't responded at all with iran sinking ships after ships in the hormuz strait.
Well, I think what was happening with the ships passing through SoH recently was Iran letting them pass intentionally...as a goodwill gesture, to facilitate negotiations with US and probably GCC, but recently ,Iran must've realized negotiations were going nowhere ,which meant war is inevitable with US, so Iran is back to "locking up the "straights of hurmmus", it's trump card in this ongoing war. Iran is willing to lose A LOT of material and lives to keep the soh locked while it remains at war and feels it's related pressures. @Lulldapull
