The Israelis would have had the luxury of exercising more options had they collaborated with the two-state solution based on the 1967 borders in the first place.

But instead, they upped their game by building more illegal Jewish settlements on Palestinian territories and show no signs of slowing down.

There is even an idea of 'Greater Israel' floating around Israeli political and military circles since 2023. I kid you not.

Ambition is good. But overambition can make one go 10 steps backwards. Now, they have no other options left other than war, and that ain't fun.

I understand Iran's economy has been facing challenges. Though I have my doubts about that organization, BRICS membership can bring some economic relief.

I doubt Trump would wage a war in Iran. In fact, he is the only president not to have started any war during his previous presidency. Biden? Gosh....

The only nation I'm sure can track the f-35s are China, as Russia has shown a severe degree of incompetence.

Yes this may have been feasible a little while ago before Iran demonstrated their offensive and defensive capabilities. The equation has changed and the cost of a regional war would be too high with high chances of loss. Let’s look at this from a global perspective. If the US gets engaged in a large regional war then that would limit them in the pacific and in Ukraine. This could result in two strategic defeats for the US. Even if the US goes crazy and mobilizes for all three fronts it would just isolate itself with the (outside of west) world.

Separately, Iran does not want to destroy israel as the western narrative keeps saying. The solution is to change the zionist policies of superiority in the region and put them in their place. The west is already divided on the support for israel and with logical solutions from Iran will further sway many in the west to reach a compromise rather than a regional war. A compromise is still a defeat for israel.
