Seems like Trump is gonna use new Iran deal as an excuse to reduce American military presence in ME. He openly talked about it in past.

He said that he made enough for Bibi and Israel with assassinated most important Iranian general in previous mandate, and concluded that Bibi behaving was like loser...

So why the recent buildup of US troops, bombers, aircraft and naval ships in the Middle East recently?

To make AIPAC Jews happy who funded Trump administration into power for waging war against Iran. American deep state lets Jews, Russians, Chinese, Arabs, EU etc, massively fund lobbies in the American admin but they do what is suitable for US in the end. Israel has been pushing US for war with Iran for decades but failing.

In Ukraine and the Middle East, Trump says one thing in public, but on the ground the US military is doing different things.

US has not bombed Iranian nuke sites and Iran has not sunk USN ships or rubbled its bases in Sheikhdoms. Both sides seem in no mood for any war.

Usa is strongly presented around Iran for decades...When they lost Iran as partners, they had to compensate with military presence in 6 countries; what is not something cheap... Strategic b2 planes could be use again against Yemen, unfortunately...but not for Iran, because even other major countries in Iranian neighborhood are not supporting that idea....
Btw, they are ignoring African front that have ongoing conflicts, with Iran and Russia in process of pressurizing French colonies...

Witkoff said the redline is weaponisation. If that is the case, a deal is very possible

Iran has massive underground nuclear centrifuge program for UF6, it does not need reactors for it. i firmly belive iran for the last 20+ years have amassed enough U235 from centrifuges to have dozens of nuclear weapons on a short notice.

West secondary objective is IAEA programs and primary objective is to get into hidden programs of enrichments by having this deal.

In what world 10K SWU UF6/year is considered massive?

Dozens of nuclear weapons of what power? Dozens of 10 kiloton weapons?

Iran has had great options to weaponize her nuclear program (other than the enriched uranium that we have given up once in the JCPOA and we'll probably give up soon in a new deal) but has always failed to do so. Iran foolishly destroyed IR-40 reactor in the JCPOA. IR-40 produced 8-10 kilograms of plutonium. So, Iran has lost at least 80 kilograms of plutonium since 2015.
That would've been enough for 10-15 weapons similar to Fat Man.

Iran was the second country in the world after the US with access to laser isotope separation since 1970s. The Islamic Republic has been capable of domestically producing copper vapor lasers for nearly 15 years. Yet, nothing has been done in this regard either.

So, it's safe to assume that the establishment in Iran considers nuclear weapons a red line for its own existence.

If the US agrees to sell Iran 100 F-35s, would you take that deal?
Who do you want to use those jet fighters against?

You won't be able to use them against NATO, and obviously not against Israel or the US herself.
