US is saying if negotiations fail we won't stop Israel. Just remember when Israel REALLY attacks they aren't just going to use airstrikes and missiles they are going to use their infiltrators and cause havoc from withing.

and I really doubt the US will allow us to keep 60% HEU if it doesn't want to let us keep even 3% LEU enrichment

If we ever want to enrich the 60% further, we will have to do it covertly, not with our current centrifuges at Natanz. Keeping our centrifuges running achieves nothing at that hypothetical scenario. Our top priority must be to keep the enriched uranium inside Iran in case that the US or Israel decides to threaten us again, even at the cost of halting uranium enrichment for a 3-year period.

You have to understand that with a guy like Trump, it's all about the appearance. If Trump can tell people that he has made Iran stop enriching uranium, he will be happy. Trump needs something to tell people that his deal is better than the JCPOA. That's all he really wants. And we should give him that but keep our enriched uranium inside Iran, sealed under the IAEA supervision. Insisting on uranium enrichment when in reality it helps us in no way is stupid. We should insist on keeping our current stockpile instead.

Yeah I thought those warheads were BS.

Iran can overwhelm Israeli BMD when 2-3 places are the targets as we saw with TP-1 and TP-2 but when you spread your missiles all over Israel, especially if Iran can only launch the same amount as the TP's, it's likely the missiles won't be effective.

Also who's to say Israel this time won't take out the launch sites in preempt. It took Iran a very long time from when they deployed the missiles to their launch site to when they were fired and even us here in the forum knew an attack was coming as US/Israeli intel were telling us Iran is preparing to attack. This is not going to be where Israel hits Iran embassy or Hamas in Iran and sits and waits for Iran to respond once Israel crosses this line I think Israel is going all in and make sure Iran doesn't get a chance to respond like before.

actually Iran targeted and hit sites in Gaza, Tel Aviv, Tel Nof, and Nevatim. and a wide range of targets across Tel Nof and Nevatim. and hit them all.

Israel doesn't have that many targets to hit to begin with.

Top Iranian General (Bagheri) talked about creating capacity for operations 10s of times bigger than TP2. Assumption Iran can only fire 200 missiles is very bad.

hitting soft targets in cities will appear more dramatic than hitting empty space in a large military base in the desert

it would take like 2 Khorramshahr-4 warheads impacting in Tel Aviv before Israel started talking about existential threats and nuclear weapons

A lot of countries have the technology. The US, Russia, Australia, even South Korea and Iran have worked extensively on the subject. It is not developed for civilian enrichment because the chance of proliferation is quite high. Iran was particularly successful because we had imported the technology from the US itself in 1975. And we can produce copper-vapor lasers inside Iran. If Iran wants a guarantee, then that's the only real guarantee that Iran can get.

Iran's nuclear program, as it exists today, has been a dead-end for both civilian and military purposes.
