The worst scenario here is if Israel does partial strike while US pledge not to be involved (but shoot down everything fired at Israel) and pass it off as Netanyahu trying to cement his legacy before ending the genocide in Gaza and retiring from politics.....

By engaging him and the rest of the zionist cabal either wittingly or unwittingly you are giving them the excuse they'll use to walk away from the negotiations and paving the way for Israel to strike. That they tried negotiating but Irani weren't willing.
