I think this is the Scott Ritter interview from about two months ago I had referred to above and which made him so controversial and even 'compromised'. The change in the American administration, per Scott, left Iran no choice but to play along. Bitter truth. But Scott's words now look prescient. We might as well have Netanyahu in the White House--something never happened before. But political fools here never understood the nuances of American politics.

People think Iran has some kind of explosive instantaneous firepower that it can launch against a country far away. Even though it is a sanctioned and economically struggling nation.

US is a superpower and has been preparing this for the last two years. It has Israeli's do some of the execution. Mostly in name only. The refueling, intelligence collection, providing of munitions and so forth is done by US.
 
Iranian leaders talk big but are very incompetent in military issues. Just like Iraq's Baghdad Bob. Meanwhile Chinese are very humble but have the military to back it up... I thought Iranian IQ are supposed to be high according to the statistical reports coming out every year???

I don't see any future in Iran.

how? by the time Israel is done with them with US and Nato blessings, there will be no nuclear site left in Iran. Israelis are not inspired by PAF's "restraint" doctrine.
