If Irani regime is going down they should target all US assets in the region as well as their minions like the gulfie camel jockeys. Dubai should be flattened at the very least and strait of Hormoz blocked for the foreseeable future.

Thanks, we don't want Iranians to be killed for some anti-West show.
If the regime should go down, it should happen with minimal damage to our civilians or our civilian infrastructure.

From a strategic perspective, China's best strategy is to “allow Israel and the United States to control the entire Middle East.”

I know this sounds cruel, but it is indeed the most advantageous strategy for China.

Israel/the United States has fundamental, irreconcilable cultural conflicts with the entire Middle East region. They can destroy the armies and governments of Middle Eastern countries, but they cannot eliminate all the people of the Middle East. If Israel/the United States were to completely control the entire Middle East region, they would be completely bogged down in an endless people's war. The U.S. war in Afghanistan is a classic example.

Of course, during this period, China can moderately provide some support to intensify the confrontation between the two sides. But China does not need to directly intervene.

Instead, China can continue to develop its national strength and military power. At the appropriate time, it can use both economic and military power to directly target the United States.

US and Israel have been controlling the Middle East for decades already. They use local proxies to fight each other. They don't get their hands dirty themselves.

You are already under sanctions. Food security is an issue build enough technology to be self sufficient with food and medicines to be able to tolerate sanctions and just build nuclear weapons. You have enough land to ans access to sea water to grow food.

(As pakistani i wouldn't want them to do so but logically speaking the policy makes no sense)

Iran, with its immense oil wealth and much better human resources than Pakistan, could have developed a decent air force and air defense systems. But Iran's 'defense' was its proxies in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iraq... And when they became largely neutralized and ineffective in the last 6-8 months, plus with the decades long investment by the West in Iran's internal frictions, Iran became exposed. That's what Scott Ritter tried to warn against 2-3 months ago where he got chewed out.

Probably not the right moment to say this, i would go further and say the regional strategy for last few decades was a failure. Iran should have focused on its self only to build strength.

Gonna call BS on this one. Of course they aren’t going to give the Israeli’s free damage assessment.

It’s highly likely anything above natanz is now gone. And the vibration likely damaged the sensitive centrifuges meters below if they didn’t penetrate.

It will be interesting to know how Israel planned to eliminate the enrichment capacity of these sites without striking the core itself.

Qatar is only aligned with us in case Saudi Arabia decides to invade it. Which MBS seems to have grown weary of military conflicts and is focusing on the economic side of the coin to become more like Germany - economic powerhouse.

Qatar in that sense is an Iranian “ally” against Saudi Arabia hegemony in the Middle East.

But against US or Israel? They are as useless as Iraq, maybe more so.
