Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Nasrallah was the real deterrence card Iran had. With Hezbollah decapitated this card is now lost.

Hamas did lasting damage to the Axis of Resistance by doing the 10/7 attacks with no coordination with the Axis. Not only did they succeed in getting Gaza destroyed and their people subject to genocide, but they unraveled the entire region in the process. HZ destroyed, Assad overthrown, Iran being attacked.

This is all due to one groups bravado and not thinking thru multiple orders of consequences. Add in a complacent Iran who refused to establish deterrence against Israel and you can see now the situation we are in.

Still hamas has killed more Israelis then the rest of the Muslim world combined and that's an achievement.

Please look up Scott Ritter's interviews from 2-3 months ago. I don't respect the guy a lot but he seemed prescient in what was going to happen to Iran unless Iran didn't ride out the Trump Presidency. Scott knows the American political system, he knows Trump the ultimate Zionist, he knows Netanyahu, and he was on the mark then. He was chewed out over his statements then but he was right. He said things like 'Iran needs to ride it out because this is the most Zionist administration ever'. 'Iran may not even be able to launch many of those thousands of missiles because a lot of home work has been done by the Israelis on those sites' 'Iran has lot of internal fissures/moles which Israel is going to exploit' 'It was unthinkable just a few months ago that Hezbollah would be damaged like that, the Pagers Attack, the Fall of Assad'. I have paraphrased his words. I think most of those words were spoken in a Glen Diesen interview 2-3 months ago and for those Scott was chewed out. The guy could be a loose cannon but is often right.
You and I have this conversation before, I will check out the video but I see no difference in Biden or Trump, lets not forget it was Bush that attacked Iraq which was carried by Obama, Iraq was taken out because of its ability to hit Israel with SCUD in past and also to cripple the country so when Israel wants to bomb Iran they won't have any resistance from Iraq, few small insurgent groups launching few drones from Iraq means nothing as they (IDF) control Iraqi air space completely.
For Iran there is no good option, ride it out or find a deal ? its not about America but Israel which controls America, Iran can ride out Trump, and Kamala can take his place but Netanyahu and Israeli lobby is just too powerful, he will remove the US president and bring the one who follow his orders that's how much power Israel/Netanyahu is, he is the darling of the crazy Zionists who wants nothing blood of Arabs. Once Iran becomes Iraq their focus will be on KSA, they won't need to do much to once again show KSA in a bad light, many of 9/11 attackers were Saudi's, and American right wing hate KSA as much as they hate Iran, so whether Trump is president or biden, Obama or AOC, none of it matters because in US politics even standing up to Israel is political suicide, and for as long as it will remain like this, world will see no peace.

I continue to believe that the Hamas attack on Israel was a plan by Turkey/Qatar to drag Iran into a direct confrontation with Israel and take Syria.

It is unfortunate that Iran did not respond proportionately to Israel’s previous acts of aggression. Over the years, Israel has systematically targeted Iranian nuclear scientists and military commanders, often with impunity. In response, Iran has largely resorted to symbolic gestures, such as striking empty areas, actions that fall short of establishing any meaningful deterrence.

I’ve consistently advised fellow Irani members on previous forum, that Iran must prioritize strengthening its defense capabilities and adopt a more realistic view of its strategic position. Relying solely on state media narratives or leadership assurances creates a false sense of security.

The reality is stark, Iran currently lacks a decisive edge over Israel in critical areas of military capability. Without acknowledging and addressing these shortcomings, it will remain difficult, if not impossible for Iran to effectively deter a regional bully like Israel.

It doesn’t matter now whether Iran was prepared or not. What counts is how much damage they’ll do to Israel in retaliation before going down.

Without wanting to be disrespectful, Iran can’t get out of this as the winner. After all, it’s not Israel they’re fighting with, it’s also the US and NATO.

The anti-Islamic forces are united and hunt like a pack of animals while Muslims are like headless chickens. Getting destroyed one by one while stubbornly refusing to unite to defend themselves.

Till the day Muslims unite they’re going to keep suffering defeat and humiliation.

After this time I think there's no possibility to establish a pro west regime in Iran, even if the Islamic republic got overthrown. The only risk is the collapse of morale and national faith of Iranian ppl, just like what we Chinese ppl experienced after the first Sino-Japanese war and the collapse of Qing dynasty. You should read our history of “Century of Humiliation" and what we called "unprecedented Catalysm in three millania",to see how the once proud and powerful Celestial Empire fall into the abyss of self doubt even self hatred and crawled back to today's position. Then you can take some notes to revive the great persian civilization.

Very interesting. I should read up on Chinese history. Vaguely aware of it.
Relevant to this particular thread and similar topics: Any nation which decides to be a vassal state would pay a heavy price in the long term. All those Arab nations in Israel's proximity who are buying time for peace should know that they have an imperial, expansionist presence in their midst and that will limit the regional nations' growth and exploration rights etc. Same as with Pakistan: Should it accept the Indian hegemony, then Pakistan would be forever subjected to the Indian preference for trade, exploration rights, water usage etc etc. Human beings are predatory now as they were millions of years ago.
But for Iran... if they were genuinely, ideologically for the Palestinians then they should end that enterprise: If the rich Arab nations won't move an inch for their Palestinian brothers then Iran should just confine itself to its own border, better the lives of its citizens and forget about the rest.
