There is no retaliation coming. They been saying retaliation is coming every 2 hours for last 18 hours.

Iran is at war and not responding. The IRI looks paralyzed and incompetent. The airforce is non existent. This looks like coup attempt. Part of the government wants negotiations the other part is talking smack while getting assassinated by Mossad.

If Iran doesn’t regroup soon and fast then this government will collapse on its own weight.

They are likely compromised. Loyalist Iranians know that they have been severely infiltrated with collaborators. So there is likely a big trust deficit right now throughout the Iranian command and control structures.

This is also why Iran is incapable of responding. They are too paranoid about each other. Their top leadership has been eliminated and the replacement is not able to take firm control because they are off balance right now. So Iran is right now ducking and taking all the punches. They will try to respond once the dust settles and they new command is able to take a form control of things.

From the Israeli side .. they realize Iran is currently struggling to stand up because they have effectively destroyed Iran's command and control structures. They will continue to press on and systematically destroy the critical military and economic structures. They will also instigate the other asymmetrical warfare such as local terrorist actions by the Iranian Secular leftist and social unrest through social media "democracy" revolution.

It came fast. And Trump negotiations were a distraction tactic to enable Iran to have its guard down while Israel attacked. Good cop, bad cop classical play.

Didn't realize Iranians were that naive and incompetent.

It seems to me like the USA and Israel have always had this ability to just do this at any time of their choosing

So really what do Iran have to negotiate, did they really ever enter the fight over the last few years? Was the support in Gaza really support or just cynical manipulation?

That is nonsense. Striking back without causing damage would be laughed at. The whole point is to cause damage and the only thing that is irrelevant is how to strike back. Iran should learn a page or two from Ukraine in this regard.

And the US will jump on the opportunity of regime change if it sees it has been met with popular support.

If tiny Israel can do this to the IR, establish complete air dominance over entire Iran in less than 12 hours, what do you think the US can do? The US will finish them off in less than 72 hours. Even Saddam lasted 3 weeks. lol
