Indeed. Israel does not have strategic depth so its support base compensate for it. However, in war, any country that has support, takes it. China helps Pakistan. China, Iran and North Korea helping Russia too. Israel, Pakistan and Turkey helped Azerbaijan. This is how it is.

All I am trying to say is that Iran doesn't nearly enjoy similar support from its allies. It would be fair to say that Iran is fighting against Israel mostly on its own.

Lebanon also has a new govt run by the US ambassador Morgan Ortaganus who are cracking down on Hezbollah and the supply line via Syria is also cut. Hezbollah is in survival mode for the forseeable future.
