I don't want to toot my own horns, but many years ago on this site I had some conversations with Iranian members, I told them their airforce should conduct exercises with friendly countries such as Pakistan or even China to understand modern air combat. I told them they're seriously lacking in avionics and EW.

Our Iranian friends argued with me, saying everything is ok, Iran can manufacture modern avionics and missiles themselves and their F-14 is the best.....

After 2020 Soleimani assassination, I came here and said Iran needs to obtain nuclear weapons asap. Our Iranian friends told me Iran does not need nuclear weapons because US is divesting from ME....

Somehow I don't think their problems is solely with their incompetent leaders

if you dnt change with time and accept new tech and new doctrines then its over . you were right at that time . iran has learnt the bitter truth . but still khumanai should give fatwa about nuclear bomb even for morale booster so itanian could fight with. new hope

What Iran needs to achieve before calling it over:

1.)Some of Israeli critical infrastructure destroyed

2.) 100+ Israeli's killed

3.) Widespread destruction in Tel Aviv

4.) Put Israeli home front under intense pressure

How would AF be useful in this situation?

You've got IDF F-15's launching aero-ballistic missiles from 250/ 300 miles away over Iraq/ Syria which have ballistic trajectories and then a vert dive near target and then turning home.

How do you intend to intercept these aero-ballistic missiles or FTM go up against USAF aircraft operating out of NE Syria Al-Omar or the Al-Assad bases?

I don't have time for this now, but we could've intercepted Israeli F-15s and F-16s over Iraq and establish a buffer zone over Iraq.

The US wouldn't get directly involved in the war due to low public support at home, but if it did, we would've had a legitimate reason to target the US navy and their assets in the region, forcing them to back off.

And 400 jet fighters would deliver more destruction than 150,000 missiles.

True this is a disgusting stance but im specifically talking about Israel-Iran not Israel-Gaza

next generation will be Iranian nationalists want Iran to have nuclear weapons and strong air force (like me)

Israel will want Iran to be weak like Syria in this scenario since it wants all its neighbours to be weak even if they don't pose a threat

so the conflict with Israel is not going anywhere unless there is a coup by people who want to abandon nuclear weapons and enter US orbit and join Abraham Accords. which does not seem realistic.

If Iran request Chinese and Russian help, declare a coup by Iranian army, who will declare neutrality and become friendly with usa and Israel aswell as others, get rid of the current regime and IRGC, leave middleeast affairs altogether. Israel Usa will never allow Iran to have nukes or long or medium range missiles. Iranian nationalist need to put Iran first, develop good relations with neighbours, build economy, get rid of sanctions, build airforce, build good relations with the USA GCC Russia and China, slowly build up from this, maintain your freedom but no to nukes or long range missiles. This may save Iran. It's a good move too. The other option is become like Iraq, completely under the control of the Usa and no freedom.
