You are not wrong. Iran needed to show its a mad state, not a rational one. Iran had another two chances when Iran embassy was bombed in Lebanon and when Haniyah was assassinated, each time it acted like a rational state with restraint. It showed its neck to enemy, it was game over.

So Iran cannot test a nuclear device because the current war state does not allow Iran to re-start that work.
.. even if it has it suspended.

Iran's best hope now is a physical invasion of Israel proper. If they can take some portion of Israel, then they can negotiate a way out to end the war.

Iran got something in return for the drone technologies and the factories they helped us build in Tatarstan. Its very racist to believe the Iranians are some kind of idiots that gave us some stuff for free because they like us. Iranians were always very cautious in dealings and cooperation, do you remember what kind of scandal they made when we said that we are using their base in Hamadan? Probably thats why they didnt want to sign an agreement like the one we sign with North Korea few months before the one we signed with them.

As for sanctions, we have waaay more than Iran have, thats from 2022, a lot of more were put on us since than.

To be fair, Russia, China and Iran are all clowns in this affair. The reason why the West is powerful is because they move in one direction, like a wolf pack. While the "East" are like a herd of cats, all doing their own thing. Nothing is integrated. There is no single system. No one organizing everything in any systematic, integrated way.

Iran has acted quite incompetently, Yes. Both Russia and China have also failed to provide decisive protection as well, which both are perfectly capable of doing together.

B52s arrived to replace the B2's that was a few weeks ago I don't know why they are hyping it as if they just got there for Iran.

Also there is a part of me thinks this is all psyops by Trump to pressure Iran because he knows and his supporters know that the moment he strikes Iran without provocation all hell is going to break loose in his cabinet with some resigning and turning on him including many "media" supporters.
