I’ve avoiding posting in this thread because I know this topic is deeply emotional and complex.

That said, I want to express how unfortunate it is that we live in a world where some countries—like Israel—are allowed to possess nuclear weapons with the backing of powerful allies, while others are condemned for seeking similar capabilities.

I believe Iran, like any sovereign nation, has the right to defend its borders. However, I also believe that its focus should shift inward—toward its people, economy, and long-term stability—rather than engaging in activities across the region or supporting non-state actors.

North Korea is another extreme example. While their internal governance may be harsh, they avoid involvement in external conflicts, which has arguably helped them survive geopolitically.

I feel deeply for the people on all sides who are suffering. But it’s especially painful to see how much Iranians are bearing. They don’t deserve this.

My only hope is that going forward, Iran can move toward a path of development, peace, and freedom from sanctions. A stable, thriving Iran would benefit not just its own people, but the entire region. Iran is a culturally and resource-rich nation with enormous untapped potential—we just haven’t been able to see that potential fully realized.

Iran can't win the war but we can hope for the best in the future.

The biggest culprit in the world today is the USA. It’s disheartening to see global politics used as a game of strategy while ordinary citizens in many countries pay the price. The USA cannot be trusted because their leaders only care about their dirty goals, not the human lives.
Finally you're making a lot of sense 👏

I am pretty sure President Trump, at the core of his heart, wants Israil to be squarely beaten up! He knows the power of Israil inside the USA, and he doesn't like it......
On top of that, every single US president hates Nathanyahu. Obama never shook hands with him. Biden used to call him the "biggest SOB ever the US has to deal with". And Trump diverted his flight halfway back and never spoke with him again. Yes Israel IS important for the US, but Nethanyau is taking unfair advantage of it for a long time for his personal gains.

everyone said Trump and Modi were great friends but look at how Trump screwed up Modi and has been insulting him ever since the last month. The guy has something else on his mouth and something else in his mind. Yesterday Trump intervened only because Iran was threatening something "really big" and then Iran stopped after Trump wrote those tweets.

If Trump wanted, the US could have taken out Fordow Facility with a B2 stealth bomber any day, without needing a war and nobody in Iran would have even known what happened or what hit them. No air defense can detect B2, let alone hit it. Israel kept begging the US to do so since the last 6 months and US never agreed. Israel even asked them to give them a B2 for a while, still nothing. The fact that US is letting Israel bleed until now, while refusing to bomb Fordow themselves, says something.

Not for you’: Israeli shelters exclude Palestinians as bombs rain down

Aseel Mafarjeh
Samar al-Rashed, a 29-year-old single mother and Palestinian citizen of Israel, lives in a mostly Jewish apartment complex near Acre. She was at home with her five-year-old daughter, Jihan, on Friday as air raid sirens pierced the air, warning of incoming missiles.

She grabbed her daughter and rushed for the building’s shelter.

“I didn’t have time to pack anything,” she recalled. “Just water, our phones, and my daughter’s hand in mine.”

The panicking mother tried to ease her daughter’s fear, while hiding her own, gently encouraging her in soft-spoken Arabic to keep up with her rushed steps towards the shelter, as other neighbours climbed down the stairs, too.

But at the shelter door, she said, an Israeli resident, having heard her speak Arabic, blocked their entry – and shut it in their faces.

“I was stunned,” she said. “I speak Hebrew fluently. I tried to explain. But he looked at me with contempt and just said, ‘Not for you.'”

In that moment, Samar said, the deep fault lines of Israeli society were laid bare. Climbing back to her flat and looking at the distant missiles lighting up the skies, and occasionally colliding with the ground, she was terrified by both the sight, and by her neighbours.

Forget Palestinians, they are fighting each other now.

Exactly. From how Iran is responding right now, it’s clear they've been playing a dangerous geopolitical game for years—without having the strength to handle the fallout. What’s worse is that their leadership seems to have never had a backup plan, even though they should’ve seen this day coming a long time ago.

That is true you are right, media silence is happening in israel.
Yes, yesterday Israel was even arresting people who were filming the Tel Aviv Skyline. Multiple reporters have been throw out for sharing the impacts. But oddly, the live feeds started showing up again last night (why would they arrest those people and then start the same live feeds again) and since then suddenly, we cannot see any hits at all, in Tel Aviv's skyline, while Iran is constantly claiming hits.

Its quite possible that even the live feeds are compromised. Aljazeera has stopped airing any live feeds of Israel since yesterday too, which is very odd as they were always showing them as soon as any news of Iranian launches would start. Since yesterday they show nothing at all anymore.
