Not for you’: Israeli shelters exclude Palestinians as bombs rain down

Aseel Mafarjeh
Samar al-Rashed, a 29-year-old single mother and Palestinian citizen of Israel, lives in a mostly Jewish apartment complex near Acre. She was at home with her five-year-old daughter, Jihan, on Friday as air raid sirens pierced the air, warning of incoming missiles.

She grabbed her daughter and rushed for the building’s shelter.

“I didn’t have time to pack anything,” she recalled. “Just water, our phones, and my daughter’s hand in mine.”

The panicking mother tried to ease her daughter’s fear, while hiding her own, gently encouraging her in soft-spoken Arabic to keep up with her rushed steps towards the shelter, as other neighbours climbed down the stairs, too.

But at the shelter door, she said, an Israeli resident, having heard her speak Arabic, blocked their entry – and shut it in their faces.

“I was stunned,” she said. “I speak Hebrew fluently. I tried to explain. But he looked at me with contempt and just said, ‘Not for you.'”

In that moment, Samar said, the deep fault lines of Israeli society were laid bare. Climbing back to her flat and looking at the distant missiles lighting up the skies, and occasionally colliding with the ground, she was terrified by both the sight, and by her neighbours.

A lesson for the so-called leftist liberal pro-western secularists. You will never be one of them no matter what you try.

It is not Iran fault that this is happening to Israel. Israel started this and Iran has the right to defend itself.

we should send people with 358 missiles and disrupt enemy air fuel operation over Iraq ...

what are those good for nothing Iraqis group doing?!

they should lunch some missiles at air refueler airplane in Iraq sky11

sending karrar with air 2 air missiles are another options...

we should have 24/7 air patrol by several of our UAVs on alborz and Tehran provinces...

I’ve avoiding posting in this thread because I know this topic is deeply emotional and complex.

That said, I want to express how unfortunate it is that we live in a world where some countries—like Israel—are allowed to possess nuclear weapons with the backing of powerful allies, while others are condemned for seeking similar capabilities.

I believe Iran, like any sovereign nation, has the right to defend its borders. However, I also believe that its focus should shift inward—toward its people, economy, and long-term stability—rather than engaging in activities across the region or supporting non-state actors.

North Korea is another extreme example. While their internal governance may be harsh, they avoid involvement in external conflicts, which has arguably helped them survive geopolitically.

I feel deeply for the people on all sides who are suffering. But it’s especially painful to see how much Iranians are bearing. They don’t deserve this.

My only hope is that going forward, Iran can move toward a path of development, peace, and freedom from sanctions. A stable, thriving Iran would benefit not just its own people, but the entire region. Iran is a culturally and resource-rich nation with enormous untapped potential—we just haven’t been able to see that potential fully realized.

Iran can't win the war but we can hope for the best in the future.

The biggest culprit in the world today is the USA. It’s disheartening to see global politics used as a game of strategy while ordinary citizens in many countries pay the price. The USA cannot be trusted because their leaders only care about their dirty goals, not the human lives.
In case of Iran you have to understand the Dynamics, one of the reasons (out of many) for the revolution was that the Shah was seen as pro Israel. And Israel was seen to be eating up all of the Muslim countries around it while nobody was doing anything about it.

The actions of Iran are not random. They are deep rooted in actual situation that their people see in the Middle East. Israel Has taken over Palestine, performing Genocide in Gaza, taken over Golan, they are openly claiming half of Lebanon once they are done with Gaza, they are laying claims on Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, Syria (fully or partially). As Iranians see it (even if not all, still most of them), they do not wanna bury their heads in the sand and hope that Israel would go away. They wanna take this fight head on before it comes to them or anyone else around them. Also remember that Iraq/Iran war was backed by US and Israel too, so Iran has been relentlessly attacked by Israel, for 8 years in the past, too.

In the current situation, the do not want an Israel that is bombing them daily, unchecked, even if they get into a truce, like Syria or Lebanon or West Bank. Can you imagine the humiliation ? It is not worth it for anyone. These are all very valid reasons and as a nation Iran clearly sees that they have no option but to resist.

The elite jews are the Khazarian jews.

They originated from North China/Mongolia with a lot of mixture from slavs.

The other dark skinned jews are lower ranked and expendable.

Those white jews also treated the black jews as subhuman by sterilizing them.

Khazarians were basically part of the Mongol horde mixed with Slavic blood in Ukraine. They converted to Judaism and not Islam. Most of these so called Askenazi Jews have very low Jewish blood, they are essentially Mongolic Slavs.

Film but not upload. You get jail time for uploading videos. They arrested people in Haifa two days ago.
even from your bedroom window.......if you caught now.......and if you uploaded/ publish it on insta, X or YT.......man its jail time.......

Exactly. From how Iran is responding right now, it’s clear they've been playing a dangerous geopolitical game for years—without having the strength to handle the fallout. What’s worse is that their leadership seems to have never had a backup plan, even though they should’ve seen this day coming a long time ago.
I have a different perspective from many others here, as much of the discussion seems to reflect one-sided narratives.

I do criticise the U.S. and the West for their monopolies and geopolitical dirty games, which often come at the cost of human lives.

At the same time, I also criticise Iran for supporting non-state actors such as Hamas and Hezbollah, which contributes to regional instability.

A stable and peaceful Iran would benefit the entire region. Iran absolutely has the right to defend itself and pursue what’s best for its people—but that should come with a focus on internal progress and a better future and safety for its citizens.

I don't have a good feeling Asim being in the US alone for that long. I am afraid he will crumble under pressure like Musharraf and create another insurgent problem on our Baluchistan front like Musharraf did in KPK and tribal areas.
No Never. Not our Sipah Salar

Why is your backside on fire if he did or didn't? kindly stay in your own lane.
They post shit or off topic - when you ban them - they cry like a 12 year old. Have nothing to say about the topic - just hear to troll and show us what i dians are.
Embarrassing

Well accepting any such offer from the US means a sign of weakness. And the aggressor never negotiates with the weak.
Iran,s only last hope is to counter US militarily is when Russia or China gets involved. Alone iran is countering isreal pretty good.

Yea a military censorship going on there. They are having lots of damage there.

That's why I said Iran is in a difficult position-both paths ultimately lead to disaster. Choosing diplomacy may only buy time, while confrontation without nuclear capability won't have a significant impact.

Russia is clearly staying out of it, preoccupied with Ukraine and having already scaled back in Syria.

As for China, unless there's a strong strategic incentive, they're unlikely to intervene either, given their growing focus on Taiwan.
