Lesson learned by who, Iran? I don't think so, if they survive this bout of crisis they will again go back to their old ways. They won't go for nukes, they won't pursue genuine alliance, they will continue with the opportunism. Basically, they feel they can be smart arse about everything and get the benefits from everywhere and even as far as playing the west with their nuclear card without ever getting nukes. There is no cure for this kind of "smart assery".
The Chinese (and all east Asian nations) are very smart people. That lady who posted this on X has accurately described Iran's character, which I have noticed for a long time but couldn't have written it the way she did even if my life depended on it.
This is utter nonsense.....Let me remind you reactionaries
1. Iran during the 90s was given an award by the UN for spending the most (%of GDP) out of all the countries in the world on Afghan refugees.
2. Iran was the only country to send arms to the Bosnians when they were getting slaughtered by the Serbs.
3. Iran spent billions of dollars of money that it needed internally, and sacrificed many men to fight ISIS
4. Iran helped Syria stay afloat after ISIS to the tune of 10s of billions of dollars.
5. Iran trained and armed Hezbollah and they were able to defeat Israel's invasion in 2006
6. Iran has spent hundreds of millions helping to stabilize Afghanistan after the soviet pull out, and then after the American pullout.
7. Iran at great cost to its security supported Armenia during the conflict with Azerbaijan that was largely fueled by Israeli weapons.
8. Then there is the Houthis, they were being decimated by the 2 richest Arab vassal states in the ME......we helped them secure their country and beat back the invaders.
9. Oh I forgot the big one......Iraq, where the fk where the rest of you trash talkers as America steam rolled your Muslim brothers and sisters? Iran was there again!
10.....I'm going to stop here. Don't believe everything said in a tweet....ask for facts!
